How likely are you to recommend Dr. John Carosso?
What patients say on Google
“VERY HELPFUL! They were very nice and worked great with khloe! The evaluation was about 45 minutes to an hour and I can honestly say it was such a sign of relief after seeing them and getting the answers I needed for my daughter(5yr old)! I love them and will continue going there until further notice! Id give 10 stars if i could!”
“Do not recommend going here dr doesn’t care to listen to your needs or concerns when it comes to your kids. Feels because he has a phd he knows everything there is to know in 20 minutes of meeting your child. I won’t be going back. He cares more about making a quick buck than the welfare of your child. I don’t recommend this office!”
“Extremely thorough with my daughter’s evaluation. Very kind throughout the appointment. Not haphazard in giving her a diagnosis- they really looked at every aspect of behavior before doing so.”
“This was a generally positive experience. The receptionist’s attitude was a bit abrupt at times, but I understand that everyone faces their own challenges. My main concern was the payment for the evaluation I received. I was not informed beforehand that there would be a copay, and I came to the appointment unaware of this fee. It would have been helpful to know that the copay is determined after the appointment, and perhaps this was mentioned in the paperwork; while I accept that it’s my responsibility to read it, I believe it’s courteous to inform patients in advance. The fee of $500 was quite substantial, and transparency in this matter would have been appreciated. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but as someone who works in the mental health field, I know that informing patients about copays and explaining payment expectations are important steps to reduce confusion and build trust. Overall, my experience was positive, but the unexpected payment took me by surprise. I believe it would have been better to clarify this before the appointment to ensure a smooth and positive process for both parties.”
