How likely are you to recommend Dr. H.P. Langner Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“If I could give negative stars I would. This vibes were off from the beginning making you come in or see him every two weeks for months no matter how stable you are on medication. Secretary talking crap to patients on the phone laughing in the background. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 10 years and I’ve never encountered a more unprofessional group of people. Now the doctor himself is in his late 80s and cannot remember half of the things you tell him from visit to visit, he cannot hear either. This man needs to retire. It’s so unsafe. I’m sure people are just going to him to get certain scripts and that’s how he’s staying in business. I will be reporting this to BBB and the state this man and his money grabbing schemes need to be shut down. And seeing all the reviews with similar experiences just go to show how bad this issue really is. Please stay away!!! And read the reviews.. people are not lying or being dramatic it is truly that bad.”
“This man shouldn't be practicing! My 2nd visit with him today, he supposedly didn't remember our 1st appointment in person about 3 weeks ago. This appointment was on the phone when I specifically asked for a video telehealth appointment, the receptionist said he was going to call from his personal cell phone. Why would he do that, you call from your business phone for a "phone" appointment. He forgot that i "snapped" 5yrs ago and unknowingly attempted suicide, and that I was in ICU for 7 days with respiratory failure. How could a pyschiatrist forget that? You DON'T! He asked me "what are you looking to get out of this", i said a psychiatrist to make sure I have my medications, that's mainly what psychiatrist do, he just "sighed" and he sighed alot during this wasteful appointment. He caused me absolute fear, anxiety and panic that i can't seem to control after being treated like this just because he doesn't understand my PTSD, he never will understand what i suffer daily, hourly, ect. he's not in my shoes, he hasn't a clue if this is the way he treats patients. Then he told me he would fill my medication for 2 weeks, which he thinks is enough time to find another psychiatrist, he knows better. I thought Doctors were supposed to "doctor" their patients, not put them through a mental hell. I made a formal complaint to my insurance company immediately after this occurred today. I'm also making a complaint with others who overlook our psychiatrist. I won't tolerate that kind of treatment, I am a human being also. If he really forgot about the suicide attempt, then he must stop practicing immediately! Either way, he has done very bad for a doctor. I told him he can't discriminate against me because he doesn't like patients with PTSD. He has one receptionist that is rude just like he is. I don't understand how he keeps anyone employed there after the way he treats people. I had read the reviews on here, and many from 2yrs and back state he doesn't remember anything, if his memory was going according to the reviews over 6yrs back wouldn't be practicing today, his memory would have gotten worse. Horrible experience today. I'll never forget it. Traumatic at best.”
“My first time being able to see a psychiatrist since I was a child and let me say every staff member that I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with, whether front desk (Tina is so sweet) to Dr. Langner are super helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and the list could go on! Recently I injured my knee so telehealth has been a LIFESAVER. With everything going on in the world easy accessibility is the most important thing to me. They are very kind and sympathetic to my situation and offer support in the community with their resources. My anxiety of finding a new doctor and then having to wait was quelled. Also, they have these cute poodles named kitty and zoey! Amazing for those tough sessions when you need a cuddle buddy.”
“Dr. Langner is Intuitive, caring, compassionate, experienced, and professional psychiatrist and I look forward to our monthly sessions. He creates an incredibly comfortable environment that allows one to relax and let ones thoughts flow. He has been a tremendous source of support during some extremely challenging times. I also give 5 stars to the staff for always accommodating me and helping me with whatever issue comes up with insurance. They are friendly and he has the best hours...evenings and weekends! I prefer to call to get a faster response. Thanks Dr. Langner and staff.”
