“Has a condescending attitude. He told me ro research Vyvanse before he would give me a prescription. But then when I did, and said I would prefer Adderall XR, he argued with me and forced the Vyvanse instead. How incredibly disrespectful and manipulative to waste my time going without meds and researching when he wasn't going to respect my opinion anyways. And it gets worse. He tried to tell me Vyvanse wasn't a stimulant...it's literally an amphetamine. Also, I recently started a new job with an open office setting whereas I am used to working in a home office. I asked Dr. Anokwuru to sign a letter to my employer confirming my ADHD diagnosis and ok-ing noise cancelling headphones as an ADA accomodation and HE REFUSED. Claimed headphones aren't indicated to help with focus for ADHD which is FALSE. Duke U just did a study on it recently but COME ON! Headphones have ALWAYS been known to help and have been indicated on IEPs and 504s for ADHD since time immemorial. Dr. Anokwuru is rude and incompetent. I will not be seeing him again.”
