What patients say on Google
“EDIT (7/3/26) in AM: It is fascinating that the practice's public response claims "our records do not reflect the events," yet behind closed doors, they sang a completely different tune. Let’s look at the exact timeline from today, July 2nd: 2:15 PM: Dr. Gagnon sent me a private email and a simultaneous text message stating, "I'm sorry your experience with our practice left you feeling this way... We have reviewed the matter internally, and have used it to inform improvements to our communication and office procedures going forward." Which is it? Did the event not happen according to your public PR script, or did it happen enough for you to launch an internal investigation and promise structural changes in my private inbox? To be clear: there were no "feelings" involved here. I am simply relaying the objective, factual reality of what happened. But the false sentiment of being "sorry for my experience" perfectly exposes how much genuine compassion is actually behind this therapist's practice. Apologizing privately while publicly calling a consumer a liar to protect your rating is peak defensive deflection. The voicemail of her trashing a client exists, the 2:15 PM private admissions exist, and no corporate damage control can erase the factual paper trail. Consumer beware remains an understatement. Original Post 7/2/26 in AM : Look elsewhere if you expect basic privacy, organization, and professional respect. My experience with this office was deeply disturbing. The administrative staff is extremely disorganized. They called me an entire month after I canceled an appointment, completely confused about my status. When I corrected their paperwork mistake and told them I had already taken my care elsewhere, they tried to aggressively justify their delay by falsely claiming I was "contractually obligated" to them. Let's be completely clear: last I checked, standard medical and psychological ethics require an actual, formal intake interview before a provider can ethically bind a client to a contract. You cannot legally or trapped-by-design bind a patient through an automated website portal or an online chat system before a doctor has even evaluated if they can help you. Worse, Dr. Chantal Marie Gagnon Ph.D., LMHC failed to hang up the phone properly after our call and proceeded to talk trash on my voicemail, explicitly calling me a "problem client." There was zero accountability or acknowledgment of their own major administrative faux pas—just defensive, aggressive tactics because I wouldn't let them bully me into a non-existent contract for an evaluation they admitted they couldn't even perform. The absolute only positive thing I can mention is that I did receive my cancellation refund. When your intuition says consumer beware, LISTEN to it.”
“Dr. Chantal and her team were absolutely amazing. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. As a former member of the military, I truly appreciate professionalism, respect, and attention to detail — and Dr. Chantal exceeded my expectations in every way. She took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. The office was clean, professional, and very organized. What really stood out was how kind, patient, and attentive Dr. Chantal was. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and the community she serves. I left feeling confident in my care and appreciated the personal attention I received. Highly recommend Dr. Chantal to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional doctor. Definitely a 5-star experience!”
“Chantal Marie Gagnon is condescending and disrespectful. One phone call with her prior to my appointment has prompted me to cut ties with this facility prematurely. Everyone else at the practice has been lovely so far and this is very unfortunate.”
“Dr. Chantal is a highly knowledgeable and skilled psychotherapist who brings both clinical expertise and deep empathy to her work. She helped my family navigate complex emotional challenges and provided clear, evidence-based guidance throughout. If you're looking for someone to trust with your mental healthcare, I can’t recommend Dr. Chantal enough.”
