What patients say on Google

“DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! I originally set up a virtual appointment in the wrong time zone and there was no courtesy call when I was late. They charged me $100 even though after insurance, the doctor only gets $60. What is ridiculous is that he only ever spends 5 minutes at every appointment. I fee been going to them for over a year now and the first late appointment, I get hit with this fine. Never go to them.”

“Overall the best Dr I've gotten mental health medication from. However I have had other Dr's completely mess me up physically (puking and unable to work) due to the medication they prescribed so maybe that's why I am fine with how my overall experience has went with him. First, going in, he actually listened to what I had to say and diagnosed me rather than just listen to what the Dr who referred me thought it could be. This seemed to help me get medication that actually helped me overall instead of making me sick immediately like previous Dr's did. He did keep me on the medication that I was already on that was helping me but told me how to properly dose it (my previous Dr said it could be taken as needed and he informed me that was not as beneficial for my type of anxiety and would explain my ups and downs I had been having). Then recommended an additional medication which I did overall like and probably could've stayed on if it weren't for a different Dr adjusting my cardiac medications unnecessarily. I was able to wean off that medication and he says if I feel I need to I am able to try something similar. Since getting pregnant he has helped me know that the medication I am still on is safe. However did encourage me to wean off of it due to there always being that chance I could be the one that happens to have side effects no one else has had yet. He encouraged counseling along side the medication to help wean off of it and not be too dependent on the medication since I have been on it for years. I started seeing him around when covid started so after my first appointment I had to switch to Tele health. For a while the Tele health was just a phone call which wasn't bad, however it made it easier for me to act like I was doing better than I was so he probably wouldn't push harder for counseling or added medication. However that is on me and the lock down probably didn't help. I never had any issues with getting a refill because I forgot to schedule an appointment and ran out of medication and needed a refill to avoid withdrawals. The secretary answering the phones had given me more grief about it than he ever did but she still left him the message as she should, just gave me a bit of anxiety about it cuz she said he might not refill it til after the appointment even though i told her he always did so I didn't get withdrawals. He would just say okay you need to schedule for this week and gave me a prescription to hold me over til then. When checking in for appointments he would ask how the medication is going and then go through asking about work, family, relationship, home life, Etc. I really have nothing to complain about with him. I would recommend.”

“Do not go to this doctor! The staff is limited and are NOT accommodating. They will charge you $100 no show policy, when all they had to do was call you at 5 minutes past the scheduled time too see if there was a scheduling error. They do not accommodate even after being a loyal patient.”

“Horrible. First he put me on an antidepressant and scheduled me to come back 3 weeks later. Went in 3 weeks later and he asked if I was feeling better, I said a little bit but still have a ways to go... His words were well "you're not feeling better because of the medicine it wont start working for 5 weeks".... So why schedule an appointment after 3 weeks? Money hungry? I still gave them a chance and went in a few more times. Well I had an appointment yesterday but got stuck at work.... I called and canceled a half hour before my appointment and was informed I would be charged $100 cancelation fee. I explained my situation and I was told I would have to schedule an appointment to "maybe" get half of that charge removed. So I have to pay a $400 office visit to maybe cut a cancelation charge in half.... That broke the straw for me. He don't care about his patients I can promise you that! You can find A LOT better.”
