How likely are you to recommend Dr. Anthony R. Smartnick, MD?
What patients say on Google
“Genuinely the worst experience of my life. Each appointment way maybe three minutes, misdiagnosed and put onto med after med when they weren't working. Horrible experience, would talk for a minute, he would give a new med, and if you need help he's the last person to help I promise. It was a miserable experience and it made things worse.”
“My wife is (hopefully not much longer) seeing this doctor. She has been trying to get help for 5 days - we had to go to the ER over the weekend but this guy cannot give the time of day for a patient in crisis because of the meds he prescribed. Find any other doctor or you may find yourself in this same boat. There is no after hours emergency number, and even after being told that she had to go the the ER his comment was we have an appointment in 3 days! Really, why go into this business if you cannot handle a patient in crisis. I reiterate - stay away this guy does not care if you are in crisis. We will be finding someone else but that takes time and does not help her now.”
“Dr Smartnick is very kind and understanding. He explains what he is prescribing and why and how to overcome side effects. He doesn't push me to take anything I'm uncomfortable with. He encourages me to message him in between appointments if I have any questions, and he always responds very quickly.”
“If I could give less then 1 I would. Scheduled an appt. and yes I was lucky to get one. My wife is suffering from delusional paranoia It took an extreme effort by her to get in the car and go to a doctors office. we started at 6 A.M. to get to a 9 am appt that's half hour away. I knew we'd be late "I couldn't get her out of the car" by 15 minutes or so. I called and was told it would be fine. I arrived at 9:15 and was turned away. Who does that. A patient suffering gets turned away. This isn't acceptable. I will send this to the Ohio medical board to review. I requested to see him and heard him tell his receptionist to tell me that he was with another patient. I was the only one in he waiting room and the only car in patient parking. WHAT A LOUSY EXCUSE FOR A DOCTOR. JUST SHAMEFUL AND A BLACK EYE ON THE MEDICAL FIELD”
