“Dr. Eugene Jackson and Madelyn M Burnette FNP are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate when it comes to level of care and comprehensive evaluation of my symptoms that are presented at my visits. They are the best physicians that I have encountered with respect to the patient-doctor relationship that is beneficial(and necessary) when diagnosing and treating ailments until medical intervention can be made possible. My situation is unique in the sense that many systems in my body are affected and a simple solution is not immediately apparent, also due to the fact that I am relatively young. I cherish their patience and intentional listening, that is rare to find with many physicians these days. I see many specialists as well, four different disciplines. I will require surgery in the near future. Three years is how long it has taken me to get to this point in my journey due to a lack of competence experienced with several other providers. Three painful years. Competent specialists that will operate on me have a very long wait list, and that wait is much longer when a primary physician does not believe you when presenting your symptoms so the referral does not get made. This has never been an issue at Dr Jackson's office. This practice(DMC Family Care) does a great job at providing me a better quality of life while referring me to the specialists required to practice interventional medicine to address the cause of my symptoms. I am grateful to have found such a practice and value their expertise and understanding in treating my symptoms while the cause of those symptoms is being evaluated by physicians and surgeons who specialize in those areas. DMC Family Care is also very comprehensive when it comes to monitoring blood work and performing any diagnostics that would be preventative of an unknown disease progressing to a more severe stage. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. The staff treats you as though they have known you since you were young. Each time I leave an appointment with this establishment, I feel like progress is being made toward better health in my future. That progress is being made and I thank Dr Jackson and Madelyn Burnette for making the time until surgery manageable and something that i can endure.
