How likely are you to recommend DHR Health Behavioral Hospital?
What patients say on Google
“I’ve had THE BEST experience here at DHR Behavioral. i just finished my current session here at the DHR behavioral center with the lovely Miss.Katie she is a wonderful therapist with so much insight to give to all demographics of people all ages and all different struggles and stories. I encourage the lot of you to go take this experience to the fullest extent everyone needs therapy and that doesn’t mean you’re broken you just need people to talk to. IOP therapy is the best way to learn about different prospectives and how to use those prospectives to help you out with your mental health journey. The staff and patients are more than willing to help out in all cases you will never be alone in this journey that’s for sure. GO AHEAD APPLY AND START YOUR MENTAL HEALTH CARE NOW with DHR Behavioral You won’t regret it!”
“Worst hospital in the Valley. Family member was at a DHR clinic and was recommended to come to the ER for her B/P being high. They brought her by ER transport. After 8 hours of being here, they say she is going to be admitted. 10 hours later still in the ER, they say she might have to stay in the ER room all night. That it’s not uncommon for them to stay there all night. Come on DHR all that money and you all can’t make a better ER and more rooms if they get admitted. It’s bad enough only 1 person can go back there. Then you all don’t want anyone in the waiting area but 1 person. Please take notes and learn a thing or 2 from South Texas hospital. Only reason we came to this ER was cause her doctor is from DHR. Funny how when it’s a CEOs family member the rules get bent cause DHR staff calls them VIP patients. I know this first hand.”
“A family member needed help with dementia-related medications and treatment and we are so very glad for the kind staff we encountered at DHR Behavioral. Every call was kind and compassionate, and the nurses, support, and office staff were patient with us as we walked through their care. Monique, Patricia, Eileen and several others were incredibly helpful, but I would be remiss if I didn't make special mention of our social worker, Felix. He eased our anxiety, provided guidance through what was, for us, a complicated situation due to extenuating circumstances, and went above and beyond to keep us informed and on track with a developing situation. I'm especially grateful for him and hope he sees much success returned back to him.”
“My daughter was admitted into this place and it was a terrible experience for her there. They drugged her up so much that she came home with a bruise on her side and had no idea how she got it. I adked her to think back to try to remember how she got it. She said she was slouched over a chair on that side for a while due to how heavily medicated she was that she didn't realize it. She gets admitted into a behavioral center forced to go because she was a "danger" to herself. Only to be put on so much antidepressants that she didn't realize she was hurting herself. Staff was rude, I need my glasses to read and the guard up in the front asked me about my glasses when I went to go visit my daughter. They lost her clothes too. They are not treating their patients with dignity and respect. All they are to them is a way to keep them in business. My daughter was admitted on a Friday and they told her the weekend doesn't count for the days she's admitted, but they do count when they bill the insurance company.. please don't have your family admitted to the behavioral at DHR. Seriously thinking of reporting this place for malpractice.”
