How likely are you to recommend DFW Physicians Medical Associates?
“Dr Khan is an exceptional psychiatrist. She has a calm, compassionate demeanor that immediately puts you at ease and creates a safe space where you can openly share thoughts and feelings. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs quality mental health care. Everyone in the office is welcoming, friendly, and professional. Their communication is outstanding- it is always easy to schedule appointments, and they do an excellent job keeping you informed of updates and friendly reminders of upcoming appointments. The entire TEAM makes the experience seamless and stress free. I highly recommend Dr Khan and her wonderful staff.”
“My dr was great, everyone on the back end who handles things, not so much. Getting my rx sent over took two weeks of calling every day. Then I found out that they didn’t file my insurance(yet. I’m sure they planned on it but I have an indemnity plan so I was told I have to pay out of pocket until they get an EOB, even though my insurance said they could just call and they would tell them my benefits. They’re the only provider I’ve seen who does it this way.) So the next time I was there I asked them to for an itemized bill for my recent visits so I could file myself. I was that’s not something they have on hand and a different department would email it over same day or next day. This would be totally fine except that was a month ago. I’ve called again and again because I’m out almost $500. I felt so defeated after two more weeks of calling and being told the same thing over and over so I stopped calling. Finally today I called again and was informed that “the task was pending” and nobody had even touched it. I would have loved to keep going here because Dr. Khan is amazing but I can’t keep going somewhere that continuously drops the ball like this. TLDR: Don’t go if everything isn’t cut and dry with your insurance, don’t go if you don’t want to wait days or weeks for your medication to get sent out to the pharmacy, don’t go if you expect your insurance to be filed in a timely fashion, and DO NOT pay them anything BUT your copay. You will not see that money again.”
“From my first phone call to my last visit, these people have been fantastic. Absolutely everyone in this practice is as sweet as can be, and Dr. Harmon brought me back to life. I am forever grateful.”
“I was going here for years. I got worst and worst over time. I had a hard time getting in contact with my doctor. Today I called to see my doctor for an appointment since I was seen at the ER this morning for flu. I have asthma and wanted to another machine and got the run around. Stephany and Jessica told me that I had to request see another doctor and I wouldn’t be able to see doctor tan again if I switch. They were trying to get me to schedule a televisit. Why would I schedule a televisit if I have the flu and my lungs are struggling??? It’s clear that they don’t care about their patients or is it because I’m a black patient?? Smh This is unprofessional and unethical.”
