What patients say on Google

“I’ve been a patient at Dent Neurologic Center on Wehrle Dr for about 7 years now. I was referred there after I had a stroke, and I’ve continued care with them for ongoing issues since. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff is welcoming and professional. Check-in is always quick and easy, and the staff who bring you back and take your vitals are kind, patient, and make you feel comfortable right away. My doctor, Dr. Kalina Bidjov, is truly amazing. I trust her completely. She takes her time, listens, explains everything clearly, and never makes me feel rushed. It’s very clear that she genuinely cares about her patients. Anytime I’ve had a concern, they’ve been quick to respond and have gotten me in for testing when needed, which has given me a lot of reassurance over the years. Overall, the care I’ve received here has been consistently excellent. I’m very grateful to be a patient at Dent.”

“I am writing this review to share my experience with Dr. Sabila Shah at DENT Neurologic Institute. For the past month, I have been dealing with significant neck pain. Although I had an MRI three years ago that was reported as normal, my symptoms have changed considerably since then. Despite this, I was required to complete physical therapy before my insurance would approve a new MRI. Unfortunately, while attending physical therapy, I sustained what appears to be a new neck injury. As I reached the end of my PT sessions, my pain became worse rather than better. This left me questioning why my concerns about worsening symptoms were not taken more seriously. Throughout this process, I repeatedly contacted Dr. Shah’s office regarding my severe pain and asked about treatment options, including pain medication and a steroid pack. I felt that I had to continuously follow up before receiving help. I only received a steroid pack after repeatedly expressing how severe my pain had become. I also spent over a week communicating through the patient portal about new headache medication. Rather than addressing the issue through those messages, I was asked to schedule another office visit even though I had been seen only a month earlier. This created an unnecessary inconvenience. At my most recent appointment, I expected a discussion about my worsening symptoms and treatment plan. Instead, I felt dismissed and the interaction became uncomfortable. Rather than helping de-escalate the situation or addressing my concerns, I felt blamed for expressing my frustration. At one point, Dr. Shah appeared ready to leave the room before my concerns had been fully addressed, which made me feel unheard as a patient. Living with ongoing pain has been physically and emotionally exhausting, and I left the appointment feeling even more discouraged. My experience was not what I expect from a physician or a neurology practice. Having worked in healthcare myself, I believe patients deserve to be treated with empathy, professionalism, and respect—especially when they are in severe pain and seeking answers. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Shah.”

“I have been going there for years for my children And I have been getting a run around by trying to make an appointment between the doctor's office. Because I keep getting left some voice messages. When I'm told I am number one or 2 in the queue, and then I get a voice message. And then it also happens for imaging told, I'm 1 or 2 in the Q and go to voicemail. I'm not very happy. I'm very frustrated when I am trying to take care of my children I've never experienced this. This has been going on for a few months now. I am not happy. And then I'm told I have to get a new script because nobody answers or returns or calls in his top and told I've gotten calls, which is not true or voicemails. And when I do call, I go through the same thing, and then I have to wait for my insurance. To be approved again and again and again”

“My experience at Dent Wehrle was great from start to finish. All the staff that I dealt with for my cat scan appointment were very professional and caring. They made me feel very comfortable at the appointment.”
