How likely are you to recommend Daymark Recovery Services - Asheboro Outpatient Center?
What patients say on Google
“Daymark has helped me so much especially Callie Bodenhamer. Without Callie I wouldn’t be here today. She’s my guardian angel on earth. I have came so far and turned my life around completely since coming here. Everyone helped me so much and has made such a huge impact on my life. Coming up on 13 months sober!”
“Daymark has been a wonderful experience for me. Callie B. Is one of the biggest reasons I’m successful in my recovery.”
“My daughter had went in the detox program. She was put on more drugs than she was using on the streets. They give more gabapentin than I took for seizures. She went to Asheboro but they took her to Lexington. She ended up in a room with a mental case. She woke to being attacked. When she defended herself. The head nurse put my daughter out & the guy that broke it up. The staff didn't even break it up. They her put on the street 45 minutes from home higher than she was when she went in. She's going to come off gabapentin, zoloft,& another drug cold turkey. Because of their screw up. An hour after she made home & left the Lexington facility starts calling my phone for her. IDK where she is now.She doesn't have minutes on her phone because she was trying to go to rehab. They really helped that situation right???”
“An absolute joke of a place. They brag about their building being open 24 hours (“come see us at any time if you really need someone to talk to! We’ll help you however we can!” Gee doesn’t that sound great?) but the truth is they do NOT care about your mental health at all. They do NOT care about your well-being. They will not even PRETEND to care to about you. I can’t vouch for their substance abuse rehabilitation because I’ve never seen them for that, but if it’s anything like their “mental health services” then you are not going to walk out of this feeling well. My psychiatrist (who I have been seeing for two ENTIRE years now) forgets my appointments regularly. She couldn’t tell me from any other person if it came down to it. She doesn’t find me memorable enough to log the appointments that she actually does call me for. She’s done nothing but throw medication at me for two years. But hey! At least she sent me a coupon for a few of them! More than two full weeks ago, I acknowledged I needed help. So I went to their establishment (24 hours remember? How wonderful!) and tried to get some kind of help. I signed a ton of papers (which I was 100% not in the correct state of mind to read OR sign) and then after taking a drug test (which they were SO excited to have me do) I was able to speak to someone. He took down all his notes and I was told that someone would call me back the next day about setting up a psyche evaluation. I did not receive a phone call the next day, but I was more forgiving than they deserved. I said “oh, well I went in on a Friday, so surely they meant someone would be calling me the next BUSINESS day.” This was also not correct. So after three days of patiently waiting to speak to someone about something I made VERY clear was urgent, I finally caved and called them instead. And do you know what they said? They said “we have no idea what you’re talking about. We have no idea who said that we’d give you a call. You’re not scheduled for a psyche eval. Your previously scheduled appointment isn’t for another three weeks but we’ll email your psychiatrist and see if she’ll be willing to move stuff around. We’ll give you a call in a bit.” And do you know when I heard from them last? Right then, on call. They never called me back. They never reached out. And now I’m sitting here typing this because not only did they NOT call me back then, my psychiatrist also forgot my appointment this morning. It sounds like a bad joke, right? I’ve laughed at it a few times because if I didn’t laugh, I’d be crying. I can’t imagine how many people are worse off now because the only person Daymark allotted to “help” them forgot they were supposed to talk to them that day. I don’t know who you are, but if you’re reading this and you’re looking for care for yourself or a loved one, do NOT bother with this clown show. You deserve better than how they will make you feel. You deserve a chance to get better and this is NOT the place to do it.”
