How likely are you to recommend DayBreak Treatment Center of Tennessee?
What patients say on Google
“terrible place save your kids!! i went when i was in 8th grade. sent from my school not my parents my school because they thought i was sending nudes to people around school i wasn’t but that’s another story the only person that got me was chelsea and i loved her they forced me to take meds that cleared my appetite and made me feel sick when group therapy came around i wasn’t allowed to talk abt the reason i was there or anything and would get in toruble you cannot know any of the kids last names get in contact with any or them and if you tried you would be punished you also couldn’t talk to anyone without a staff member close by and the staff was rude and didn’t give a flying crap about you only the money you spend it’s living hell save your money.”
“I am deeply grateful to Chelsea Bricker and the team at Daybreak for everything they did for my family. Chelsea is a genuine and skilled therapist who shows how much she really cares about her clients. DBT is most effective with the kind of structure that Daybreak provides and the results we experienced reflect such. It is VERY hard to find good intensive mental health treatment in the area and we were not left wanting. I strongly recommend the center to anyone looking for these kinds of services for their kid.”
“I cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Daybreak. The facility and staff are warm and inviting. They take the entire family under their wing and truly collaborate with all involved during the child's time there. We never felt confused, uncertain, or "in the dark" with our child's progression through the program. After a particularly traumatizing inpatient experience, we immediately felt at ease with Ms. Susie during our very detailed intake assessment. This feeling of ease continued with any staff we came in contact with throughout our child's time there, as we met regularly (weekly) with our child's therapist and psychiatrist. The option for patients to continue with regular outpatient group therapy once they've completed the partial hospitalization program (as they return to the "real world") provides extra support during that transition and helped us feel more comfortable with that transition as well. I am especially grateful for the gentle and caring way they held our child accountable and encouraged our child to take an active role in their mental health, treatment, and therapy. Our time at Daybreak improved the way we communicate and care for each other as a family, and I will be forever grateful for everything the people here did for us. The best way to wrap up how we feel about Daybreak is a direct quote from our child: "I love that place."”
“Response to Daybreak: I know you all couldn't care less about my experience. Spare me the fake sympathy and disingenuous conciliation. Went here as a kid. I was dismissed and treated with contempt. Staff was rude, controlling and the whole thing felt disingenuous. They later went on to sue my financially struggling family at the time. What a grift.”
