“My experience was similar to that of Victoria S. I was a patient of Dr. Lujan's for a few years before I had issues. Everything was OK as long as I remembered to book my next appointment and ask for refills during my appointment. However, in 2014 I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, and one of the steroids introduced into my chemotherapy kept me awake for 3 weeks. I have a mood disorder, and sleep deprivation is one of my biggest triggers. I called Dr. Lujan at his office, I e-mailed him, and I confirmed with office staff that he was in. He never returned my calls or e-mails. This doctor was not responsive to my needs, at a time when my needs were greatest. I don't recommend him.”

“I've been to a handful of psychiatrists and Dr Lujan is hands down the best I've ever been to. Do not listen to what these people are saying about not emailing back. I've been seeing Dr Lujan for about a year now and he has always emailed me back/ called in my medications in a timely manner. I think a lot of the criticism posted here is actually wrongly directed at Dr Lujan when it should be directed at his office staff that dropped the ball. Dr Lujan is an excellent physician, whom I would (and have) recommended to both friends and family.”

“This guy is a joke. He was seeing my husband on and off and I say that because he hardly ever returns calls. Ignores his emails and his office staff doesn't know how to communicate with his patients. He prescribed my husband with an anti depressant for anxiety issues and he was already on another medication for ADHD and the two drugs mixed together had a horrible reaction and caused him to fall asleep at the wheel, swerve in and out of lanes and on top of it, had a burst of rage and emotions. When I contacted Lujan about it, he never once returned any phone calls or emails to us. Still to this day he hasnt. It's been about 3 months now. What a loser. Way to treat your patients.”
