What patients say on Google

“I would totally use DIY Wellness for my therapy and acupuncture if I didn't have providers already established BUT.. I LOVE coming here for the Inharmony soundlounge3! DIY is 1 of the only places around that offers VAT (vibroacoustic therapy) and it is AMAZING! (So amazing my hubby is making me one - but I'll still come up to DIY) and a BIG plus is they have weekend hours! 🧡”

“I love this place!! I am a recovering patent of chemotherapy. The drugs just tore my entire system apart. My GP spent the allotted 10 minutes with me an kept prescribing more drugs. Tony spent over 2 hours with me, came up with a plan to address the issues that I was having, I am no longer taking any drugs, and I am so much better. Drugs are not the answer to everything. Thank God this company is out there. I highly recommend them.”

“Anthony is an amazing practitioner. I was really suffering with somatic symptoms going in. He listened empathetically to my needs, and he effectively and professionally helped me to leave there balanced and better than when I came in. I. WILL. RETURN!”

“***Editing*** I have CPTSD and have worked with this place for a little over a year and unfortunately, I've had the same experience as a lot of mental health providers before them, just drawn out longer. I am disappointed with how my experience ended up. I had extra life expenses come up and had to stop sessions to take care of them. I was told by my therapist that they would keep my slots open for the month in case I was able to grab a session. I have to go to court with my child's father next week so I wanted to schedule an appointment for afterwards for some support I wouldn't otherwise get unless I use ChatGPT. It was one of our regular session times that she told me she would keep open this month. I messaged her to schedule it, a week in advance. She told me she gave my sessions away. She also told me she doesn't know when I can start EMDR/Brainspotting and I've been waiting for months. While I understand there are licensing issues and all of that, she also told me someone more experienced in EMDR would be better for me...after making me wait all summer for the person she hired that needed their certification to be approved first. And this is exactly the experiences I've had over and over and over and over again with a lot of therapists. Assuring you of things that they will end up saying they can't assure you on. Giving you timelines that always move. Saying the time will be held for you but its not. I don't think this is an exclusive issue with DIY Wellness and its the wellness/therapy industry as a whole. But I do want people, especially people who have relational trauma and CPTSD to be aware of when going here and thinking this is finally going to be the help they need. They are overbooked like anyone else. They don't have people certified in things they need people certified in. And they want to charge $200 to go on a wellness walk. So they may say you need help that they can't offer. So I would say, if you have CPTSD, relational trauma, and have come out of abuse and looking for help, don't go here. _______________________________________________________________ ***Editing*** my review because after I let them know the issues I was having with them, they reached out to me, apologized and worked with me to make it right. I am seeing a different therapist here now and she has outlined a plan for us and how we will spend our time together. I now feel like I will actually progress and do the work I'm signing up for. I appreciate the owner, Lisa, and her professionalism and look forward to my coming sessions. _______________________________________________________________ I saw Susan here and did not have a good experience. She's an art therapist and we did art therapy one time throughout the months she was my therapist. Then she disappeared for a month and there was no communication that she would be out for a long time. I wouldn't even receive a call half the time that my appointment wasn't going to happen until I called on my own. Before that, I would never get my appointment links for my telehealth appointments and always had to call to have it sent to me so I could do my appointment. Then with the therapy Susan would do with me, she would just resolve that it was my father that caused whatever I was talking about and that was it. No therapy, no working through it, no art therapy, just, "that's because of your dad." My last straw was when after the month she was gone without an explanation or notice, she stops my session after 30min and says she has to go because DIY Wellness was having their grand opening of their physical space and she was going to go to that. She didn't tell me at the beginning of the session she was doing this, didn't call or email me ahead of time to say she was doing it. She just did it right there in the middle of the session. Do not go here for therapy. It says its all holistic and art and spiritual stuff but they just waste your time and money. The fact that I'm being charged for half a session with no notice is ridiculous and everyone should be aware before trying this place.”
