What patients say on Google

“Called within past month to find out how to register. Was forwarded to intake automated voicemail to leave name and address, and told a welcome packet with instructions would be mailed. No receipt of welcome packet. Called to follow up and ask if I should/could come in because I felt like I was dealing with facelessness and don’t really trust the follow through. I was asked for my name. If someone is in need of assistance and asking if coming in person is available, maybe just go that route rather than trying to push and continue to resolve it over the phone. Anxiety has a high comorbidity with other things. But I’ll leave that to the mental health bigwigs that design these so-called intake procedures. Maybe relationship-building and the primary effect isn’t important for people trying to find assistance.”
