What patients say on Google

“My experience here was fine. I think crossbridge would really flourish if there was some structure. The biggest issue here is that every staff member has a different answer for everything. If everyone was on the same page regarding rules, policies, and restrictions, etc I think this place would be absolutely amazing. I understand this is an acute facility. That doesn’t change the fact that there should be more activities laid out like sheets that would make up for the time that people aren’t receiving their therapy, or there isn’t any for that day. Also, some of the staff members really would benefit from getting some training on how to speak to someone. We are all dealing with our own problems, and sometimes all we’re looking for is someone to talk to. Pros: Food 3x a day including 2 snack times , Hygiene morning and night, and recreational therapy. Cons: not enough therapy with specific social workers , a lot of unhealthy snacks, a very rude staff on some shifts, communication issues. I think this works for a general understanding on how everything works with mental health. If you need more help I’d seek therapy outside of there and also look into some facilities that offer more help. Thank you all at crossbridge! A special shoutout to Jessica in the adult unit! She was such an amazing person who was always helpful and listened. Always bright and REAL. Never once did she get impatient with me. All helpful and great fun moments while I was there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I recently spoke with an employee named Mella while calling about a loved one, and I can’t express enough how helpful and compassionate she was. From the moment she answered, she treated my concerns with genuine care and understanding. I was feeling overwhelmed, but Mella stayed patient, kind, and reassuring throughout the entire conversation. She took the time to clearly explain the steps I needed to take and made sure I understood what to do next. Most importantly, she guided me in the right direction and connected me with the appropriate resources to ensure my loved one would be okay. Mella’s professionalism and empathy made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I’m truly grateful for her support and hope she gets recognized for the outstanding job she does.”

“Staff would not release Daniel Coopers medical records to him upon request. He was given an injection of Prolixin day of discharge as well as tablets to take orally. He was given Depakote which made him catatonic to discharge him. The tablets made me walk like Frankenstein and I felt unable to think. I felt like someone was holding me down! Upon discharge I was not told what medication I had already been given in the morning medication. Bottom line is that they kept me long enough to sedate me and get me out the door!!”

“I had the most wonderful experience. During a time when I needed the help of others, Crossbridge exceeded my expectations. Every staff member was kind, compassionate, and exemplifies that they are there because they truly care. I stayed for fours days, and I can honestly say that I am thankful for this facility and all the staff.”
