What patients say on Google
“I tuck my brother yesterday and they made me wait for a long time to and the end tell me we have to go get them some information from his primary care doctor we did it and went back and after a long wait again the nurse said again now you just have to take him to the emergency room get bloodwork done the come back again. This people don’t care about the client is sad that they there supposed to bring help to the person and they don’t care.”
“Mental Health is terrible here in Erie Pa I had called Safe harbor left several messages never received a call back called crises services & the man acted like he didn't want to help very rude hung up on me kept asking me if I wanted to leave a voice message already did that 2 weeks ago and nobody is receiving or taking my phone calls. Whoever is running these programs ought to be ashamed of themselves for not taking care of patients needs but getting funded for it.”
“After hearing my friends story on how crisis has handled the situation she’s going through. Not only is she concerned for her safety but she had to lock herself in a bathroom because she almost got hit by said person she was calling to have hospitalized. Situation happened yesterday and she waited for four hours to show up before leaving to make sure she was safe. They apparently showed up and claimed their services weren’t needed. Today she gets a call from crisis services stating about them going out yesterday and person she tried to call about “doesn’t seem like services are needed” and because she wasn’t there (for her safety) she could’ve petitioned it so she simply said to the SUPERVISOR that she just wants someone held accountable if she returns to where she’s been living and ends up harmed because they refuse to take her seriously. The supervisor in turn got obviously upset and started raising his voice at my friend and I think this is completely unprofessional for her to have to deal with from a supervisor that is suppose to be a system set up to help people with mental health problems. But clearly that’s not the case. I mean it’s kind of sad to see that this office has suchhh a low rating on google review but after what my friend is going through I now understand all the negative reviews.”
“Crisis services are quite literally a joke. I had the “privilege” of speaking to them THREE different times yesterday stressing to them that said person was a danger to themself and others. Making threats of harming themself AND others. Said person acted like they were going to hit me and I had to lock myself in the bathroom until the cops showed up. Umm first call not much happened. They said they’d call said person and call me back. I get that call back but instead it’s them asking if I need to be hospitalized. Umm excuse me what? lol be so serious because what???? I’m asking to be hospitalized for calling about someone who severely needs the care. Then when I said no this person needs to be. Stressed said concerns a second time. End of that call. Third call now I’m worried please send someone this is like crazy this person NEEDS HELP. Third call I was lied to and told Crisis and the police would be out. They never actually came. So I guess my question would be do I have to end up hurt in this situation for Crisis and the police to take action???”
