How likely are you to recommend Counseling Services - Therapy Group, LLC at Moss Creek Village?
What patients say on Google
“I highly recommend Dr. Jana Wheeler and The therapy group. My family member has been seeing her, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she has provided. Dr. Wheeler is an outstanding psychiatrist who stands out for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion. She is an exceptional listener who creates a safe, non-judgmental space where her clients feel truly heard and understood. Her approach is both caring and highly professional, and she consistently goes the extra mile to support her clients in meaningful ways. We’ve been impressed by how understanding and attentive she is, and by the real difference her support has made. If you’re looking for a skilled and deeply empathetic psychiatrist, I can’t recommend Dr. Jana Wheeler enough.”
“Maria Malcolm is A wonderful therapist. She is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive. After two sessions I believe I can see the benefits and light at the end of the tunnel.”
“EDITED Feb 2026: I will keep my original review as I have named the doctor that I wrote the bad review on and I am given it four stars because I do know someone who goes to a new therapist here who I believe is wonderful as I have seen the changes myself. For the short time that he went to this therapist, Miss Leslie Bauer, I know she is good as this person has gone to other therapists and I have seen no changes. A major difference when he has not seen her, which is how I know she is the reason for his change . Also, Mr. Searcy who owns the place has been helpful and after seeing a post today about how a therapist can truly harm a child made me think of my bad post and wanted to see if "Dr" Alexandra Ingram still worked at the same place and it looks like she has moved on Once again. If you look her up and LinkedIn, that woman has had a job after job after job and states that she Specializes in things that I don't think she really does. I would like to clarify that this review pertains specifically to Dr. Alexandra Ingram and not the practice as a whole. I am writing as a third party who has never interacted directly with Dr. Ingram but am a family member of someone impacted by her approach. My concern is rooted in the observation that, in cases involving parental alienation, therapy can sometimes be misused to reinforce false narratives, particularly when the alienating parent is able to control the initial impressions given to the therapist. In this situation, Dr. ingram accepted statements from both the alienating parent and the child at face value, without sufficiently investigating the broader family dynamics or considering the possibility that the child’s words may be influenced by fear or coercion. Effective therapy in these complex situations requires neutrality, a willingness to dig deeper, and an understanding of the dynamics of alienation. It involves challenging the child, and analyzing the child's relationship dynamic with the abusive parent. She did none of that ... The targeted parent, tried to schedule a consultation with her to give her his side in hopes that there could be a reconciliation between him and his daughter. First of all, he was ignored until he contacted the owner of the practice. When a consultation was finally scheduled, she barely gave him a chance to speak, but made him feel interrogated about issues that had nothing to do with his daughter. when he came out, he said he felt like he was interrogated and attacked. She was a biased professional, who already believed that he was the villain. He said that he felt the consult was a formality and that she had already made up his mind about him before ever meeting him. Unfortunately, Dr. Ingraham authored an affidavit on behalf of the alienating parent that was ultimately dismissed in court due to its reliance on unsubstantiated claims. This demonstrated a lack of due diligence in verifying the facts before making serious allegations. I share this review to caution others who may be seeking therapeutic support for children involved in high-conflict custody situations. In my view, Dr. Ingram's approach did not facilitate healing or uncover the underlying truth, and may have inadvertently contributed to further harm. The wrong therapist can make a significant negative approach can exacerbate the problem. The right one, can change a life. Be careful when choosing to work with Dr. Ingram.”
“My review is about Dr. Alexandra Ingram, and her conduct as my daughter’s therapist. I would not recommend Dr. Ingram to anyone. I believe she has poor judgment and is not suited to help families or children for that matter. My daughter, who I share 50/50 custody over, see’s Dr. Ingram. Unfortunately, I have been alienated from my daughter by her mother, and she has been made to believe things about me that are simply untrue. Dr. Ingram, who has been told these things about me recommended that her mother have sole custody and that I am a risk and danger to my daughter. Dr. Ingram went as far as to write an affidavit for my ex-wife to use in court against me that portrays me as an unfit parent. She made several outlandish accusations about me, such as chocking my son to the point of unconsciousness! Dr. Ingram also took it upon herself to make judgments about me being in violation of my divorce decree. Dr. Ingram oversteps and has no right to make legal determinations. Yet, Dr. Ingram made several statements, all in favor of my ex-wife that are not true, that if accepted into court, could have influenced decisions with serious ramifications. Not only did Dr. Ingram make false statements, none of which based on facts or evidence, she neglected to disclose serious health concerns to me about my daughter. Dr. Ingram paraphrased my conversation with her to arm the affidavit so watch what you say with her. She cannot be trusted. Luckily the affidavit she provided was inadmissible due to hearsay. Still, it shows her character and what type of person she is. While I understand professionals may provide testimony as it relates to their expertise, the affidavit she provided completely overstepped her professional boundaries. I cannot recommend Dr. Ingram, or Therapy Group for condoning such behaviors. I suggest they stay out of the legal business and avoid writing affidavits unless the statements are verified as truth. Otherwise, just like any other profession, and reasonable standard, false statements should be avoided as it jeopardizes the integrity of the counselor and organization that enables it. I have since filed a complaint with the medical board concerning Dr. Ingram’s judgment and her unprofessionalism submitting such an affidavit.”
