Alicia Osborne has such an amazing ability to completely take a child from ground zero, literally half a sleep in sessions, pre-teen attitude and gets that child to rise up, speak her thoughts and interpret what they mean. My daughter and family have come out of some pretty traumatic experiences, felt comfortable at every session with Alicia and always feel like we are walking away gaining knowledge of how to handle situations that may arise. “We started therapy at the Counseling Center during the COVID lockdown to help my husband I and improve our parenting skills as we struggled with our daughter who was refusing to go to school. Alicia Osborne has been our counselor for the last few years. She has helped us navigate our way through the stress of having a child with mental issues, learning to work with the various school refusal programs and the schools and dealing with our own feelings and issues about our parenting. “I’ve had nothing but a great experience with this team. They came through for me when I needed them. I called around and couldn’t get a call back for the life of me. I waited days which became a week and none of these other counselors returned my call. Until I finally called here, Medina got back to me the same day. Since then I’ve been working with her and she has been the best thing ever.
