How likely are you to recommend Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh?
What patients say on Google
“You expect people in this profession to be professionals and act professionally. Boy, was I wrong in my expectation. Had an appointment with Dr. Drago and waited for 2 months to get in. The appointment was rescheduled. Then, more waiting. Still, we were very hopeful waiting for this appointment, and the night before I got a message that the appointment was cancelled because she didn't feel like meeting with or giving therapy to my child, who has severe ADHD and trauma, and we were referred elsewhere. If you are not in the business of working with people who have these issues, and need help now, try a different profession!”
“Dr. Garrick Drago was a lifesaver. I struggled for so long to find somebody who would help diagnose me and just talk to me like a human and not a problematic person. She was very kind and patient and helped me through this process for myself and my schooling. I highly recommend her if you need help with anything ADHD related, she understands it very well and it’s a close to home subject so she is very relatable in that sense too. The company themselves have been helpful as well and a very good environment. 10/10 :)”
“Dr. Drago has been wonderful with my teenage son. Her approach to medication, awareness of self and coping mechanisms has helped to instill changes that he will carry with him as he becomes an adult. She’s kind but firm - which is exactly what he needs in order to thrive. She expects patients to participate in their own care and the drive to feel better. Overall, I highly recommend her for teens needing help.”
“I had a very poor experience with Meagan Garrity. Our first appointment wasn’t the greatest due to her rushing my appointment and cutting in when I was trying to explain things. She also had to end the appointment 15 minutes early because she had an appointment to make. The problem I had, was that she told me that as we neared the end of the appointment which was very last minute to me. I didn’t feel like she took the time to get to know me and it felt as though she was trying to get through the session quickly. Another issue was that she didn’t follow up with me to schedule my next appointment and I had to call the office to get her email in order to contact her. When I did email her, we had both agreed on a day and I thought she was going to schedule the appointment. I showed up to the office and was waiting for a long time and when I had asked the receptionist about my appointment, she said that Meagan didn’t schedule my appointment and that she wasn’t in the office that day. I appreciated the help of the receptionist as she tried her best to resolve the problem and was very sorry for what occurred. This is a therapist issue and should not be allowed to continue with any future patients.”
