“For the most part, I thought I was getting good care and service from my therapist. However, the office (or therapist) did not schedule me often and I felt as if I wasn't getting to the root of my problems. And speaking of scheduling, there were multiple instances of my therapist cancelling on me last minute, the office scheduling me for an incorrect time, and one appointment that I waited 2-3 weeks for wasn't even scheduled by the therapist in the first place. If you are looking for some place where you can have some appointments but not weekly ones, this place would be good for you. However, if you are a student, this place isn't easy to work with.”

“Still the best place to go in our around Mount Vernon, Illinois for any and all kinds of counseling. I’ve been a client since 2017 and I’ve had to relocate due to the recent Covid events of the past two years. I still maintain Mental Health counseling remotely over the phone. I have noticed no drop in caring and professionalism. I have at no time had to be concerned about the high degree of service I have received. There has only been one downside to using phone sessions only and that is I rarely get to see my counselor’s smile as much as I had become use to. I continue to recommend this establishment and can’t fathom a day where I would ever stop!”

“I’ve been diagnosed clinically depressed in one form of another starting with Severe Clinical Depression in August 28, 1989 and later after spending 28 days in St. Mary’s and Angela Center in Centralia, I was later Diagnosed Bi-Polar! They put me on Medications which I took until recently November 1, 2018. My Mom passed from Cancer in June 19, 2017! Since My Mom ‘s passing I’ve been going to Cornerstone Family Counseling’s Office and have nothing but the best results!
