How likely are you to recommend Cornerstone Counseling & Wellness?
What patients say on Google
“If you’re looking for compassionate and biblically based therapy, this is the place!”
“If I could give zero stars, I would. I would NEVER recommend this place to a parent seeking help for a child with anxiety issues. My child attended therapy here for what we are VERY well aware is anxiety disorder as I have a strong family history of it. She didn't have a real counselor - she had an intern who we were assured would be "closely monitored." My daughter met WEEKLY for over 6 months and we had parent sessions to talk about her progress every 6-8 weeks. NEVER once in those parent sessions were were informed that our daughter was not showing progress. Then when her intern was about to leave, we had a parent session and her father and I were told that she'd shown little progress in her therapy and they implied that our divisive co-parenting (we are divorced) was the source of this. Is that possible? Maybe. But I know that our co-parenting dynamic got WORSE after these incompetent people became involved. When you are counseling a 7 year old whose parents divorced when she was 2, it might do well to have a parent session about her background BEFORE she even goes to counseling. Our parent sessions seemed to turn into a parent bashing session each time and my ex-husband and I began to have MORE tension than we'd had in our 5 years of divorce. I also find it disturbing and UNETHICAL to take our time and money and never once mention that our daughter is not making progress until it's time for the intern to leave and then recommend we take our daughter elsewhere. No worries there though. She will DEFINITELY be going elsewhere and my greatest hope is other parents seeking help will see this review and take their child ANYWHERE else.”
“Blakely has been an absolute Godsend to us, taking incredible care of our teenager and us, helping her get into the right residential program and giving the effective balance of boundaries with grace. I highly recommend her!”
“Been going here for awhile now and have been seeing Robert Hagerty and he is amazing! I completely recommend this place!!”
