“Met with a PA named Sarah Decker to help me taper off a medication. I feel like her behavior was discriminatory, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Without consulting me, she removed one of my medications I’ve been stable on for more than three years because she “hasn’t evaluated me” for this diagnosis and refused to reinstate it despite me explaining that my evaluation was very thorough and took eight hours. The office was rude and dismissive when I tried to respectfully raise my concerns and ask for the medication to be added back. I was told that I’d have to ask my pcp to do it. Save yourself the stress, find a different psychiatry office. One that works with their patients to find the right solution, not unilaterally makes decisions that could hurt the patient.”
