What patients say on Google
“I have been a patient at this practice for years, specifically seeing Renee Mathis, and I have to say the staff here is simply amazing. They are always fast, responsive, and willing to help in any way they can. The receptionists are incredibly sweet and kind, and whenever I need to transfer medications, it is always handled the very same day. Renee is undoubtedly one of the best. She is highly knowledgeable in her field, exceptionally personable, and truly listens to my needs to provide effective solutions. She has helped me navigate some tough situations, and I am deeply grateful for her and the entire office. To top it off, she actually rescued a stray puppy I spotted in their parking lot over the summer! I mentioned the dog to the office, and Renee ended up taking it home. I couldn't ask for a more compassionate provider to listen to me. Thank you, Renee!”
“This is by far the worst psychiatrist's office I've had the displeasure of scheduling with. Renee Mathis continuously forgot to send my medications to my pharmacy, causing me to miss several days at a time. By that I mean I had to call every single time I needed a refill and practically beg them to send my medication to the correct pharmacy. Renee also took me off one of my medications, cold turkey, causing me to experience a mental health crisis. She was extremely rude about it and unapologetic. The front desk staff is either kind and helpful, or disrespectful and incompetent. My experience with Renee Mathis has been that she is very forgetful to the point of being neglectful of her patients. Also, although the phlebotomist they have in office is kind, she should not be certified to draw blood. I was stuck 4 separate times in 4 places, yet she still couldn't get a drop of blood out. I had to go to work covered in bandaids and gauze. I would not recommend. Has gone extremely downhill over the years.”
“Mark is the absolute best therapist. He cares about my well-being and I've become more confident and when my mother bullies me, i stand up to her. I have 0 love for her. I have Endstage 4 C.O.P.D and she hasn't ask me how I'm doing or anything. she gives no emotional support and she ALWAYS responds to me like I'm a piece of trash on the street. I'm disabled and also have HIV. My parents cut me off at the worst part of my life. It's gotten so bad, Mom is very hostile and she really actually tells me to get out of her house because I was interrupting her time frying fish. She literally just said that to me yesterday. My phone was hijacked last week and the hacker locked me out of my phone. I'm a DoorDash driver, and thats how I supplement my income, because disability barely covers rent, food, and gas. As for utilities, I'm past due and always in jeopardy of disconnection. I dont have anyone to help me. Im heartbroken and so afraid and alone. I had to stop taking my medicine, because I can't afford to pay the doctor. I need help. I'm a nice person, never met a stranger. i'm scared and I dont think i can hold on much longer. I get psychaly weaker everyday. I dont feel like I can take much more.”
“My husband and I each see Brandi. I guess we have seen Brandi for about 2 years. She is very thorough and responds to phone calls or emails personally. She takes a true interest in her patients. We greatly appreciate the time she gives us. Highly recommend her.”
