How likely are you to recommend Cordial Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“About a year ago I went in there looking for a therapist at the time I was going through a lot, I met with Erica and she asked me all these questions that she had on her list basically. After the questions she realized that I wasn't there for medication and she says oh we don't really do therapy well what we do have one make therapist but he's like booked for the next 6 months, were you looking for medication? At the time I was not so I was like okay thank you. This wasted my time and money going in there. I don't know whose fault that was, I don't remember, but I remember thinking that it was a therapist office and I was upset when I left. Fast forward I find a therapist, me and her talked about being put on medication and I didn't really want to go through a whole nother evaluation so I called cordial for an appointment it might have been 6 months later maybe more. But I had a virtual meeting with Erica again andbI explained that I was seeing a therapist and we agreed medication may help she prescribed my medication. It's very robotic, check list type of appointments, they don't really want to do anything but prescribe you medication, great whatever, I have my therapist. We had a first meeting and she gave me 0.5 medication or whatever and then we had a second appointment and I asked for it to be bumped up and then we had another appointment that I knew about all day and when the time came I totally forgot and I missed the appointment, fine that's on me. I realize my prescription would need to be refilled I didn't think anything of it I made an appointment but they won't fill my Prescription until that appointment which by that time will be about a month that I'm not taking it. Why can't you give me a month prescription until I make the appointment? So I'm supposed to be cut off cold turkey which is not how you're supposed to get off these medications. And to boot well CVS was calling for the refill and then I called three times and nobody told me this they kept saying they were going to request it from Erica and then finally the 4th call flipping out cuz now I'm out of medication the last time I called she was like oh we can't until your appointment. Thank God for GoodRx and we'll find a new doctor.”
“I had a very disappointing experience with this practice, particularly when trying to obtain my medical records and have Dr. Nikiray complete my release form. Throughout the process, the practice manager, Sheryl Carattini, was unprofessional and communicated in a manner that I found rude and dismissive. I also expressed my concern that I had never been informed that another provider I was seeing had left the practice. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, Sheryl appeared to become frustrated when I raised the issue. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. The lack of communication and the way my concerns were handled made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily difficult. I would encourage anyone considering this practice to carefully evaluate their options before making a decision.”
“First and foremost, this place does not genuinely care about their patients mental health. My chief reason for this review is to address NP Nop. Over a year ago, she was making errors with my medication, and when I expressed my frustration with her via message, she reacted unprofessional. I called the office immediately to address what had happened, and to request another provider. They, in turn, said it’s not up to you to change. I said, fine. I never returned. However, recently I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and return, because miscommunication does happen. I called and scheduled an appointment to see NP Nop. Following day, I receive a phone call from Zara saying Nop does not want to provide care and requested to switch me to another provider. In response, I expressed my frustration and mentioned at how unprofessional that truly is. That to me is utterly disgusting and I would advise anyone seeking mental health services to cautiously consider this particular clinic. Shameful!”
“I truly prefer tele health visit with Cordial Psychiatry. No hassle with transportation. I feel.like I am in the office. It is much more convenient. I get excellent service from providers as well as staff who reminds me of upcoming appointments.”
