What patients say on Google

“I can’t say enough good things about Continuum. My crisis started on November and it was really scary. I got a referral from my PCP to Continuum. The initial appt was scheduled far out. One day I was doing really bad and called and they ended up having a cancellation and fit me in that day! I saw Tara and she is FANTASTIC!! I did end up having more issues recently and they got me in that day to have an assessment. George was a great listener and patient. He suggested their program and help me get started. I started the IOP program and it has been a game changer for me. I’m only a couple weeks in but it has been such a great experience! The group sessions are thoughtful and cover topics that anybody could relate to. I love how they keep the group engaged and allow us to have discussions. You can tell Jordan and Alyssa truly care. Dr. Mika has been fantastic and I appreciate him taking my thoughts into consideration when it comes to medication management. He is also thorough in his explanation of his care plan to you as the patient and I really appreciate that. Alyssa has been a great therapist so far during our 1:1. There was one thing she said to me that really hit me in a good way. And even dealing with billing and FMLA stuff had been a breeze. All around, I can’t say enough good things.”

“Dee, the program manager for psychological testing, is truly one of a kind. She has a warmth about her that immediately puts you at ease, which makes such a difference when you’re going through a process that can feel overwhelming. She genuinely cares about her patients and goes above and beyond every step of the way. Dee knows the testing process inside and out, and she takes the time to guide you through it so you always feel informed and supported. Her compassion and dedication shine through in everything she does. I’m so grateful for her and can’t recommend her enough!”

“I truly have never posted a review like this, but seeing as this is a mental health facility, I feel I need to. I will try to keep it short and sweet, starting by saying, this was the worst encounter I’ve ever had. 15 minutes past my appointment time (mind you I showed up 15 minutes early AND had all my paperwork filled out), I was told the provider I was paired with could no longer see me and could I come back 3 hours later. I declined as I had already taken time off work and had my own kids to get from school. When I inquired why they could not see me, I wasn’t given an answer. Brooke, the receptionist, asked if I wanted to talk to the office manager and I said yes. She came out, arms crossed, and said “my receptionist said you wanted to talk to me?” I responded by telling her that I don’t understand how they can turn me away from my appointment that was supposed to start almost 15 minutes prior. After her giving me the run around and saying “it’s clear we can’t satisfy you as a person, is there anything else you need?” I said “yes, I want to know why the provider can’t take me.” Because at this point…nothing is adding up. She looks at me and says “the provider doesn’t want you as a client”. I was appalled for many reasons. The first being, how can you turn away a mental health patient at a mental health facility after their scheduled appointment time? Furthermore, WHY does the provider not want me? I have never been to this facility before and showed up with everything I needed. I could not fathom the way I was spoken to and the treatment I received. Luckily I don’t suffer from depression, suicidal tendencies, or manic episodes because this could’ve been a very different outcome for me. I went there for help; support. Instead I got turned away after they had access to ALL my paperwork, SSN, etc. I reached out to the CEO as well as the Performance Operations Manager about my experience. The ops manager told me she would call me and did not. I reached back out and she said she would call again. Didn’t hear from her for another week- until today. She said she would call me today (03/12) and of course…nothing. This is why I’m finally writing this review. I would highly advise NOT going here if you want proper mental health care.”

“Continuum's team of professionals have helped me and another member of my family greatly. Something I've struggled to find in psychiatrists or mental health doctors in general is the sensitivity and humanity aspect, which many Drs would lose after seeing dozens of patients weekly. I feel as though every professional at continuum sees me as more than a "patient", but as a person deserving of a better mindspace based on my own worth. Their PHP/IOP Program goes in depth into issues that have always found themselves to be relevant to most people in the group, and the issues are disected in a judgement free way. Discussion during group has really helped me feel less alone. As someone who was dealing with stress overload which led to my hospitalization, having a healthy environment away from home or work has been so beneficial, and it is a very welcoming environment. They have also been very understanding of financial situations. I haven't had any complaints in the multiple years ive been seeing them. Thank you George and Continuum.”
