How likely are you to recommend Connections Emergency Behavioral Health Crisis Walk-in Center?
What patients say on Google
“the staff are generally great. some are little less formal than others. like literally you will have several staff members just hanging out and talking about their personal lives and trashing the facilities and amenities then there’s one staff member at the same time who is highly professional and is just focused on their job. the medication “urgent care” is concerning. like they can’t prescribe real anxiety medication. and the first time i went in they had someone else’s chart up the entire time and kept insisting that i was wrong about my demographics (the other person was 10 years older than me and had different reasons for coming to the clinic along with different conditions) and they eventually prescribed antipsychotics. only after the meeting with the nurse practitioner and at check out did they realize their mistake - did they redo the medication evaluation? nope. and the “inpatient” part is just something out of clockwork orange. they seem to treat the facility like a prison. i’ve been inpatient at multiple hospitals and never have i ever experienced a strip search and overview of my nice body by a nurse for “self harm”. never have i ever been breathalyzed, put in a large room with DOZENS of large chairs where several individuals were literally strapped down. and what can you do in that room? watch a single tv with everyone else in your chair or if you’re allowed make a 10 minute phone call. no phone obviously. and you can’t sleep so i guess just chillllll and eat the food that is openly mocked by every single staff member. if you are unfortunate and are aggressive at all like i saw others being you will get zero compassion from staff. i was in an area where it seemed like most of the staff converged and just hung out and the stuff i heard is insane. there were several people in the room where they obviously just needed a xanax or klonopin but that’s not what this place does. just go to the ER please”
“Horrible place. Staff didn’t know what they were doing, I could tell. I had told a therapist here about my disorder, which is very commonly known, and she asked what it was. Food was disgusting. The staff LIED TO ME about my discharge plan. I wasn’t allowed to have a comfort item (example: stuffed animal). There weren’t any calendars or clocks around. And arguably worst of all, I wasn’t allowed to have pads or tampons. I’m sorry, but I could’ve gotten an infection! Overall, I do NOT recommend.”
“I want to express my deepest gratitude for the care I received at Connections! Everyone was kind, caring and so supportive! Mike was so compassionate and really listened and provided helpful advice. I don’t know the name of the front desk person, but she was so kind and I could tell that she cared. Also, another staff member held my hand and comforted me and it really meant a lot. She truly understood. Thank you for creating a safe space when I felt so incredibly lost. Your compassion, patience, and expert guidance made a truly difficult time feel manageable, and I am so grateful to have had your team supporting me! I am still struggling from this awful depression but I was provided the tools to try to make it through this. I can’t thank you enough.”
“If I could give connections 10 stars, I absolutely would!!! I brought my son in today. Probably one of the hardest days of my life, and they were so supportive in every way possible!!!! It made a horrible process a little bit easier! Thank you to all of the staff you guys were angels today that my son and I desperately needed!”
