What patients say on Google
“Terribly long wait times. I also had a telehealth appointment today and after I had called after 15 minutes of not hearing from my doctor, no one picked up the phone for the following 30 minutes and I still haven’t heard back. Extremely unprofessional and upsetting. Lack of care and consideration of others times. I have been coming here for over 6 years now and am beyond disappointed in their communication and office management. Will be looking elsewhere this month if they don’t show initiative in taking care of their customers.”
“My son and I are both seen here and have been for years. My experience with Dr. U has been outstanding. Not only has he been patient, he is intuitive and insightful with diagnosis. Medication is discussed openly and adjusted as needed. My son sees a nurse practitioner, and while very competent, she is always terribly rushed. I would not see the therapists here. I wish I could give 3 1/2 ⭐ simply because of the unbearable wait times. If you are late or miss an appointment you get charged. I wasn't seen today until an hour after my appointment time - 5 people arrived, were seen, and left before my name was called. Due to my own schedule I had no choice but to rush through my appointment as quickly as possible. I would prefer they schedule you further out and be more prompt than try to see as many people as possible.”
“I submitted my paperwork electronically, which was a prerequisite before even being allowed to schedule an appointment. Once the office received it, they called and we set the appointment, which was a month out. Without my knowledge, Chris, the office scheduler, cancelled that appointment because I did not confirm over the phone. At no point in the mountain of paperwork was I ever told this was required, and I did not receive an email or text to confirm. According to her, this policy is only communicated verbally, yet I was never told. Ironically, I was able to follow every step of their process and complete everything asked of me, yet my appointment was taken away simply because I did not pick up the phone quickly enough to confirm less than a week before. One phone call attempt is not communication, it is a missed call. My appointment was cancelled at 10:00 a.m. and handed away by 2:30 p.m., which makes it feel less like patient care and more like opportunistic rescheduling. It seems like this office would rather make things easy for themselves than respect the time and effort of new patients. Cancelling appointments without clearly communicated policies or multiple avenues of contact such as email, text, or portal is unprofessional, dismissive, and creates the impression that new patients are expendable. If this is how they treat people before ever stepping foot in the door, I can only imagine the frustration that would come with actually being seen here.”
“Do not get treatment here. I have never been on medication for or seeing a psychiatrist, but I stumbled upon this Office while looking for Health treating my depression and anxiety. Long story short, Dr Syed Karim prescribed me a hardcore SNRI, without even attempting to treat my condition first with an SSRI. Dr always rushed our appointments, never fully heard or understood me, Didn’t even try to. It’s been almost 2 years later and I am still trying to get back to “normal” after the unnecessary treatment provided to me. If you seek treatment here, you will be treated like a number that pays the bills. I really recommend you do not waste your time or risk your health.”
