How likely are you to recommend Compass Road Counseling Center?
What patients say on Google
“I recommend Mrs. Pamela Parker as your therapist. She listens to you attentively. She is a great psychologist, therapist, and counselor. If you're looking for a therapist, or need one, she is the one.”
“Dr. Parker is absolutely wonderful! I could not say enough great things about her. She is the one and ONLY therapist that Ive had that actually cares. She is blunt but I love it because I don't need someone babing me, I need someone to tell me the truth. She is extremely educated and experienced and has helped not only me but my family as well. I would recommend anyone to her. I love her so much I have been seeing her for over a year and a half and will continue to do so. She's simply the best. We need more providers like her that care about their clients instead of their pockets. She is truly a blessing.”
“Dr. Pam is a great family therapist. We have been to 3 sessions and I have learned many techniques to help with coping with daily stress/anxiety of raising 5 kids as an at home mom. She is helping with bonding techniques/parenting techniques with our foster children as well as bio children. She helps you get to the root of the problem. I love that she is all about positive thinking and implementing that family wide. I love having her as an accountability partner !”
“*Update* My children are now home, in my care again, and in therapy to work through what this therapist put them through and the misinformation she swore under oath about. This therapist caused my children DIAGNOSED PTSD and additional therapy needs. She misdiagnosed 4 children all with the same general diagnosis. She should lose her license. She refused to provide subpoenaed documentation to not only me, but my attorney AND the judge, even after a motion to produce and reminders from the court. She “lost” records of scheduled meetings. She lied under oath when she finally showed up to court. Dont put your children through what mine had to go through. ———————- Upon the close of the first meeting with this counselor we decided a move forward plan; the next session in 3 weeks would be with my son. I scheduled that appointment for Oct 3rd at 4pm. October 3rd at 1:06pm, I called to confirm this appointment and left for the 75 minute drive. Showed up 25 minutes early and waited in the waiting room for my 4pm appointment. At 4:16pm the door opened and my ex husband went into the room. Knowing my appointment was with my son, I looked in the room hesitantly thinking maybe he was already in there and had a prior appointment as well. To my dismay and shock, I was waved to come in and start my session…. With my ex-husband, whom I have a tumultuous relationship with. My response “I thought this was an appointment with Josh?” Was met with “just sit down , your son isn’t coming” with a nasty bark back. I let her know that I have extreme anxiety and this wasn’t something you just do- her response “I don’t discuss things over the phone. Just sit down!” Then what proceeded was an hour of this “therapist” and my ex husband insisting I admit to things that have never done and railroading me. What I thought was a counselling session to repair a relationship with my teenage son, ended up being emotional abuse from a “professional” and my ex-husband. Without facts to back this up, or prior knowledge of anything but one side of a story. A therapist is supposed to be a neutral party. There was absolutely nothing neutral about this- if met the woman for 30 minutes prior and she didn’t even know what our custody order had said after working with my kids for 7 months. Not only is this unprofessional, it’s unethical and is the process of being reported to the board of ethics . I see reviews about her “take no bs” attitude, however, I urge you to find ANYONE else to go to. This is mind boggling how a practice like this could even be in business.”
