How likely are you to recommend Compass Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“I was extremely disappointed in the lack of compassion Ms Ayjanah Moore had. After a 5 week wait, I had my initial appointment with her to establish myself with the practice. Ms Moore was rude from second 1, when I was let into the room she did not acknowledge my presence for at least 3 minutes and that was after the 1.5 hr wait past my appointment time (I'm not upset about the wait, we all expect that from doctor offices). Once Ms. Moore finally acknowledged me she was instantly in an irritated mood because my mic wasn't working at first, I feel that was where my appointment went down hill. She was very snippy, judgemental and rude. She made me feel very uncomfortable, her body language and facial expression told me she didn't want to help me at all. If you are already established with a Psychiatrist and can bypass seeing the nurse practitioner (Ms Ayjanah Moore) then I cant rate if you'll have a good or bad experience but be ware, Ms. Moore will judge you for your mental health needs before she has the full story. Unfortunately because she interrupted me so many times (because she didn't agree with my past treatment), she never got to know what I was there for. She made me feel like my feelings don't matter, I will never be back. It took me a long time to get the courage to talk about my mental health and now I dont know if I ever will because that broke my trust in mental health help. Ms Ayjanah Moore, this is for you... don't judge people before you get to know them. Its not your job to judge, its your job to help people get to their answers. If you dont agree with your patient then keep it to yourself, it's not your place to be rude and act entitled over someone else's life. And a little bedside manner goes a long way, please remember that. You looked like you hate your job, maybe thats why our appointment went so bad on your end?”
“Very rude practitioners! The receptionist is nice and as helpful as she can be but thats where the compassion and bedside manner stop. Please don't expect to get any answers or diagnosis about yourself from this office. I recommend going elsewhere if you are in need to help with your mental health.”
“Given the fact that there are (were not?) not many places to have an evaluation, diagnosis, check up, regiment/routine planning done by psychiatrist around the certain area.. - You gotta give the place a bit of a break. I know it’s more than awful to have something happen to the medication you need to cognitively function accordingly. A few years ago my paper work for one of my prescriptions was lost. That was a struggle, and I had to go through the initial onset/offset side effects of both - going off my meds/getting back on my meds.. Thing is. I look back now, and realize even more so what I eventually realized then. The office in Elijay functions to meet a necessary need, where which such service is lacking for the area. It is difficult to get on @ Good Samaritan some times. Or, it was. I would not personally recommend Highland Rivers. I.E : They are subject to commonly dealing with VERY SEVERE mental health disorders, and substance abuse therapy. So, I have heard they may often misinterpret your situation if you are new patient seeking diagnosis, or re- evaluation patient. Compass Psychiatry practices, and the field healps a lot of people live functioning lives. The field work also helps aide suicide prevention. To the lady tha had that bad experience with Mr. Khanna… 🙏💜💜💜 I’m not the type to promise, unless I know I can come through on it. I’m not the betting type either.. But, I can almost 100% promise, and would bet Khana was having a hectic/bad/busy day. Or, perhaps he was experiencing some type of family matter, or something that may have been misconstrued. Fact is, as I have seen it, you could not meet a more caring individual. He is one of the ones I would say, and know is doing everything he can to help as many people as he can with the resources he can… I’d almost about be willing to bet that he might even be type to care too much … But, in the field of work he is in.. There is no such thing as caring too much… But, I prayed god would help you in every way lord will see to it. The moment I read your review. Healthcare is something that has been in some what of a crisis. Especially, when putting into perspective the resources available, and in comparison to other countries + the differing opinions and debates in legislation of = privatization vs government funding health care… With so many health problems out there… It can be easy for mental health to be put on the back burner… And, that is SAD, because mental health can kill just like bacterial infections, or slowly like cancer cells, or be as dibilatating as being blind, deaf or paraplegic. I thank god for Christ who helped teach others, and shown how to heal, hospitalis, love, and am thankful for the strength the lord gives to those in such a demanding field. Especially during this epidemic. I gave the Elijah location a 4, because it was hectic in the office @ the time a 3. But, Covid has been put into retrospective consideration. Plus Khana, I would give him 5. Given the fact the Ellijay location is a satellite location, and that he operates out of his primary location in Marietta-Yet has found a means to healp others.. I find that righteous, and can say that if you find in yourself the right amount of patience, and understand he is trying to best Healp you & avoid rush prognosis. God willed it. You will find yourself in good hands. Jahova El, bless every set of eyes that read this, their beholder, and their loved ones 🙌 Amen 🙏”
