What patients say on Google
“Appt today at 2:30 I arrived at around 2:06 Waiting room was empty as I waited I forgot to add a pharmacy stop on the way home so I called my insurance company. A lady came out at 2:21 and I asked her if she couldnt wait a lil because I was on a important call. She huffed and puffed so I got up to follow her in the back she said step on the scale. I asked again if she can hold on because I couldnt hang up. She leaves the room and comes back saying if im not ready I have to reschedule cause the doctor told her to get my weight. She was extremely nasty I said ma'am what time is my appt she said 2:30 I look at my clock and it was 2:23. She had the nerve to say thats why we ask people to come early as if i wasnt sitting in a empty waiting room for 15 mins already. Its not like I was chatting with friends or family wasting time. Mind you i was on speakerphone with My insurance company she heard them and they heard her and was just as disgusted with her mannerisms as I was. She continued to poke and lies about what she said and was doing not wanting to take accountability for her rudeness then said the doctor is not going to see me for being hostile when she sat there gaslighting the entire time. Very unprofessional I see why caseworkers dont stay long there and they have an extremely high turn over. I mean extreme at least a new caseworker every 2 to 3 months for years even being put on a waitlist for one at times because no one wants to work for them. I will be also filling a grievance with the ohio board.”
“I was scheduled an appointment today at 8am. The receptionist told me that the first appointment must be in person. I received probably five text messages and emails asking me to confirm my appointment, which I did. I got to the office 15 minutes early as advised- the office was closed. I waited a bit and then called the office. The recording advised that the office was only doing virtual visits from December 26th-30th. I was able to join the virtual call and was able to make it all the way back home while still waiting for the provider. I was still waiting 15 minutes into my appointment time and the provider never showed up- it stated her status was "away" so she wasn't in another appointment. I tried calling the office again at 8:15 and got the same recording. When someone makes an appointment for mental health they're struggling, and this is what you do to them? I bet my insurance will still be billed for a visit that never happened. Luckily there are screenshots.”
“ZERO STARS!!!! This place is an absolute joke. NPs prescribe meds without caring about thier interactions. They dont listen to patients or even seem to know what patient they are talking to. They fire caseworkers that do their jobs to hire ones that last 6 months and dont help you at all.”
“Alicia was amazing. When I called, I was in distress. She was genuinely concerned and I could tell she cared about my wellbeing. She handled my situation very efficiently and got me an appointment for the next day. I’m so grateful for people who know how to balance professionalism and compassion at the same time. Adding on after continuing my process with Community Behavioral Health… Dr. Manjula Shah is the best. She is compassionate and kind, listens to me, and gives really great suggestions on how to live well. She has put me on medications that have been helping. She never makes me feel rushed. She is a very special person. I’m so grateful for her excellence and professionalism and gentle bedside manner. She is one of a kind. My social worker Jackie is also wonderful. She’s a great listener and a truly caring soul. She helps me with practical issues in my life and is dependable and friendly and easy going. I feel like my needs are really being met by both of these amazing people.”
