What patients say on Google
“These people are awful. They are in network. It's not enough just to take my insurance card and bill my credit card the co-pay. These people have to have me have a card on file, and have a credit agreement like I have never seen whereby if they make a mistake I cannot dispute the charge. I am concerned that this allows them to balance bill me. I’m concerned this allows them to surprise bill me. I am not an attorney. My understanding is that pursuant to the no surprises at patients need to know if their charges upfront. That is not legal advice. My provider would not see me unless I agreed to those charms and told me I was probably going to be billed for a missed appointment. These people are a bunch of thieves. Pursuant to HIPAA you may defend yourselves.”
“If you’re in search for a good neuroaffirming autism and ADHD assessment or evaluation, this is a great place to go! I wasn’t expecting much considering how affordable their evaluations are, so I was impressed when I received an exceptionally affirming interview along with a 75 page in detailed report. Brittany provides so many resources after the diagnosis (including a free app with SOOO many things!) so I felt like I had a clear direction on where to go next after getting my autism and adhd diagnosis.”
“I have been with this company for about 6 months. I have been open and very receptive to the advice given. I absolutely love my therapist and psychiatrist. They listen, help, and guide me for the better. I have tried other companies in the past and it’s been hard because of insurance and money. But I really enjoy this company. If you have the opportunity to try it out I definitely would. And they don’t make you feel weird if you ever want to switch psychiatrist or if you ever wanna switch therapists. I also really enjoyed how they asked for my opinion of what kind of therapist I wanted to speak with. I also really enjoy how my therapist is also receptive to the type of learning languages that I have. They do in person and over the phone appointments, which I really like it. It’s very convenient for my life.”
“Felt more corporate rather than a place where I can vent my feelings. To start off my therapist was nice and OK but it just definitely felt like I was just another person to them. I was told sessions were one hour long each before i started, but my therapist told me on our first session that sessions were actually 45 minutes long. How upsetting is that? I don’t know, but maybe I had the wrong therapist, but the place just felt super corporate. And only cared about the money. Everyone’s experience is different, but my friend has also gone to this place and she said the same thing. She went to the Silver Spring location and was there with a new therapist for a couple weeks and could tell a lot of the therapists there were burned out. It just feels kind of uncomfortable and dystopian. I didn’t expect my therapist to reach out to me and text me, but I had just had one question about our session and she didn’t even text me till the day after our session. I understand that boundaries are important but if you don’t even get back to your clients and seem like you care for them then why would I continue going to this place? There are some definitely great providers there, but if you want to feel seen and truly truly heard, you can find so many other places in the area. They also take many clients so you’ll just feel like a number to them. My opinion, but keep an eye on what you pick for yourself.”
