What patients say on Google

“I'm a holistic health practitioner and my wife is an ABA therapist. We've both been in the healthcare business 10 years now, and have sought out help with our own personal mental healthcare. Took many years, despite being in the industry and getting the inside scoop on the best around, until we finally found Colonial Psych/Lotus Health. We've fixed both mental and physical health problems that neither 10 years of various other practices or ourselves were ever able to do, in literally just matter of months here. Highly recommend the competency, care, and skills that are unrivaled in this entire region, in our humble opinion.”

“These people are wonderful. Specifically, Shannon Cunningham, APRN and Dr. Rajasekhara (although she's not really in office). Before I came here, I felt like my mental health was in shambles, I was a pretty low priority to my old psychiatrist and there was no help for me, but I was wrong. Shannon takes the time to connect with her patients and get to know them in the "holistic" sort of way so many nurse practitioners set their livelihood upon and she is really "by-the-book", getting informed on all the complicated ins and outs of psychopharmacology and being up to date on a lot of things. I recommend her a lot. The office staff is also very kind and it seems like a nice little "family", and nothing is more important than family. I'd even go so far as to say that she and Dr. Rajasekhara did what I thought was impossible -- they actually *helped* me!”

“I have been a client of several folks at Colonial Psychiatric of Newport News for years. The people who manage the front office are amazing, compassionate people. I have never had a bad or unprofessional interaction. I have seen Dr. Jackson and Dr. GG and have seen much improvement in my mental health. It is not an overstatement to say that I would be lost without this practice.”

“I absolutely LOVE this office. I have been coming here for over a year now (I-2 days every week) and I have NEVER had any issues. I see Cassie Jacobs and I adore her. She has helped me grow in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for her!! Since being at this office I have been hospitalized twice and each time Terry (receptionist) has worked her tail off to find me a hospital that could take me immediately. Tracy (receptionist) is also awesome. We usually have little conversations each time I leave the office. I am really surprised to see this office get such horrible reviews. I couldn't imagine where I'd be without Cassie Jacobs. I highly recommend her!”
