What patients say on Google

“The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. They make sure the patient is comfortable and are always professional. Sheila is wonderful with my daughter and puts her at ease. A special shout out to Maddy for always being the Tricare ninja!”

“I had a very disappointing experience with Susan Whittney while seeking assistance with disability-related paperwork. I have a chronic neurological disease that causes significant physical and cognitive fatigue. I am largely housebound, use mobility aids including crutches and a wheelchair, and am unable to work because of my condition. During my appointment, I felt that the severity of my illness and its impact on my daily functioning were dismissed rather than taken seriously. I also felt that my financial situation was not understood. During the discussion, it was implied that an additional $700 per month was not a significant amount of money. For someone with no income who is dependent on others for support, that amount would make a meaningful difference in affording groceries, medications, copays, and other basic necessities. Another concern was the apparent assumption that because I am currently doing better than I was off psychiatric medication, my mental health conditions are no longer significant. In reality, some people function better without certain medications, while still experiencing substantial psychiatric symptoms and disability. I felt that the complexity of my situation, including both psychiatric and physical disabilities, was not adequately considered. As a result of this experience, I will be seeking care elsewhere. I hope to find a psychiatrist who takes my physical limitations seriously and is willing to fully evaluate both my mental and physical health challenges. I want to try and see if they can find different medications to help. If you need disability paperwork completed, I would recommend asking detailed questions beforehand about the provider's willingness to evaluate functional limitations and support disability documentation. I left feeling that my concerns were not accurately represented, and that the time and expense of the appointment did not help me move forward with my disability claim. This is likely not the provider to get useful paperwork from.”
