How likely are you to recommend CMH Stepping Stones Engagment Center?
What patients say on Google
“I was told you could come in for the night to shower and have a safe place to be and be sober... I was immediately turned away and told "we're not a homeless shelter" I didn't expect to be, and I just wanted to be able to sit somewhere inside for a night and finally take a shower. And on top of that I had my minor daughter with me and apparently I guess you can't have anyone with you under the age of 18. So I guess either I was told wrong about what this place is all about but either way the guy didn't have to be rude to me and be a smart-ass and say it wasn't a homeless shelter I thought that was kind of corny”
“Are you kidding, I first went to CMH and encountered a very knowledgeable capable experienced Angie Willoby and after revisiting with great humility my past experiences with this woman and prior authorizations...she listened intently. She then directed me towards Stepping Stone Engagements and I then went to visit my daughter at DHHS for the first time in over a year...an emotional visit and an absolute joy for me...for I love my daughter very much. The overwhelming emotions that evening was a lot to process. I stopped at Stepping Stone and was immediately greeted by courteous and knowledgeable people with professional and personal experiences. Both people were receptive to my personal situations....it's a safe clean recovery environment with rules structure and direction...warm...and clean...it's not a place that one can just flop at there are expectations with our recovery. We are checked in with questions that are focused on our well being saftey and the facilities safety...it's not a shelter but a clean sober safe place to work on self...now...this is my opinion and experiences..it's what I expect when I go there to be around people that actually care not just collecting a paycheck. In short, Once again, God has put a group of people in my life that care and hold me accountable for my decisions and actions...thank you for your warm reception...I look forward to my days/ evenings with Engagements.”
“My friend went to this facility and was flat refused any services. Ended drinking as had no where to go to sit for a short period. Wound arrested for drinking. Tell me again what this place is for? Begging for help to stay sober and was turned away by these people. Although cmh has the same review from me. I was in a terrible crisis although not suicidal so was turned away for help from cmh. What a joke.”
“This place is absolutely awesome. Excellent staff and a very welcoming staff”
