“My daughter’s first telehealth med management appointment was scheduled for 1:40p, I called the main number at 1:50p after not receiving any call or telehealth link and was met with an answering machine. I hung up and decided to try calling again at 1:55p and the receptionist answered where I confirmed our appointment was in fact telehealth and I asked when I should expect a call. The receptionist told me that the provider has marked us a no-show and since we were her last appointment of the day she had already left and I would need to reschedule. I informed her that I never received a Doxy link for the appointment and she nonchalantly said “oh, I don’t know….do you want to reschedule?” Since this was our first appointment I didn’t know what to expect and with our previous providers we received the Doxy link at the time of our appointment therefore I assumed this office worked the same. I don’t understand why no follow up was made to be sure we were attending considering I confirmed the appointment prior. Very unprofessional and disorganized in a field where it is extremely hard to navigate and find help, I expected more. We are now rescheduled another month out with the earliest appointment.”
