What patients say on Google

“I had an mental health appointment with Dr. Sarlls. Solely based on that, the review is a 5/5, especially as a first time mental health patient. He was a great listener and helped me organize my own thoughts and experiences in order to reach a diagnosis. Unfortunately, the communication and reliability from the clinic have been misses. I have had three appointments with them and two of the three have been cancelled fairly close to the appointment by the clinic. I am sure both times had good reasons, but it is obviously not what I would hope for from a practice and something I would advise others keep in mind. My feedback for the practice would be to have the medical care professional reach out in this case. The last appointment that was cancelled was a follow up to evaluate how my medication had been going, so with this cancelled I am left in the lurch with no refill. Compounded on this, it is expensive. Now I can not easily say to what extent this is the fault of the practice vs insurance, but it is all the more reason I would have preferred clearer communication and consistency. I was not properly informed ahead of time of what the cost would be and then paid nearly $300 for an appointment that now has dead-ended since I have just decided not to refill. This is my choice, but one I have made in light of how this process has gone. Hopefully Clarity Clinic can take this feedback on board, as I truly had a great initial consultation. I wish their team the best ❤️”

“As a therapist who has referred patients to Clarity Clinic over the years, I feel compelled to share some observations. The revolving door of providers is well documented in other reviews and, to some degree, understandable in a large group practice. What is not acceptable is the way departures are handled — or rather, not handled. Patients are given no preparation, no explanation, and no meaningful support when a treating psychiatrist leaves. Front desk staff are unable to provide any information about where a provider went, leaving patients who may have been in a years long treatment relationship without recourse or continuity. The psychiatrist-patient relationship is built on trust and continuity, and no one should understand this better than a mental health organization. Whether provider departures are obscured by non-compete or non-solicitation clauses is speculative, but if true, it raises serious ethical concerns that go well beyond standard business practice. To their credit, Clarity Clinic offers relatively quick access to care and accepts a wide range of commercial insurance — genuine strengths. But operational efficiency without ethical accountability is not good enough in this field. Patients deserve better, and frankly, so do the providers who pass through here.”

“Be very careful and insistent with whatever random provider they give you. They do not to genetic testing here, and prescribe medicine pretty quickly. That can seem like a positive but if you're already depressed or anxious, it's not very helpful. The process to book is not user friendly, you have to do it yourself and can't do it while in the patient portal, which is just an extra hurdle for someone seeking support for mental health. If you need more attentive care and you're struggling with day to day tasks, i can't really recommend this practice. I had a severe reaction to medication due to being too depressed to rebook follow ups myself and had no one to monitor me. They may have good providers but medication is serious. My recommendation to the practice is to improve your digital systems and operations to be more accessible and accommodating Update: perhaps they are undersraffed. they referred me to somewhere else lol”

“I recommend against using this clinic. It is a mammoth operation and as such, your needs and requests as a client will be completely ignored unless you are in your appointment with your provider. If you need to contact a provider, you can send them a message. If you urgently NEED to contact your provider - you can send them a message. Or you can call the office - and they will send them a message of equal unimportance. If you need to speak to a supervisor, they will send them a message asking them to call you. The billing department over billed me and once I noticed it and made a call asking for a correction it took five months and two phone calls before receiving a check in the mail. My provider is very nice and when I am in an appointment I am satisfied with my experience as a client but am extremely dissatisfied with my overall experience. Having a need outside of your appointment feels like spitting into wind. I highly recommend a different, maybe smaller operation.”
