“WOW…. Dr. Poreddy is incredible ! She has soooo many extraordinary qualities that make her a leader in the field of psychiatry. She communicates with clarity, respect and optimism. Also, she is open-minded and willing to offer logical explanations about the treatment plan she recommends. Most importantly she is a " wealth of knowledge " due to her extensive professional expertise. Dr. Poreddy makes every session feel comfortable and she is soooo easy to talk to. Her active listening makes me feel “ truly heard “ and she is able to foster a trusting bond through her compassion and deep understanding. I wish I can give her more than 5 stars because she is worth a lot more! Thank you Dr. Poreddy for being such a true blessing :) ( Daniel and Cerasela Calderon )”

“I had a really frustrating experience here and feel like people should be aware. Before my appointment, I was asked multiple times to provide my insurance. I submitted my Blue Cross Blue Shield information through the portal twice, and when they still said it was missing, I even emailed them a picture of my card. They responded “thank you” and never once mentioned that my insurance was out of network. I went to my appointment assuming everything was fine. Then AFTER my appointment, I get an email saying “sorry, you’ll have to pay $320 because your insurance is out of network” and even said I could cancel the appointment… which had already happened. That is not acceptable. Insurance verification should be handled before the appointment, not after. A $320 bill is not a small mistake, and this could have easily been avoided if they had communicated properly. When I reached out to billing, all I got was a simple “sorry” with no real resolution. Overall, really disappointed with the lack of transparency and communication.”

“Clarity Clinic’s lack of help caused me to have a mental break and lose my job a few years back. I’ve never gotten back to myself and have not been properly medicated. I had been on 3mg a day of clonazepam and was functioning well. I worked as a financial controller at a job I loved and was good at. Cut to me misplacing my clonazepam and Ivy Poma not helping me. I went off 3mg a day, which I had been on for 10 years, of clonazepam cold turkey. I broke down, left my laptop on my desk at work, sent an email that I was leaving, and walked out. I curse her every day of my life now. A person who is mentally stable and properly medicated doesn’t do that. I know she is not at the clinic anymore, but she isn’t any worse than the rest. I think, because they’re all PAs, they have no autonomy. I know Ivy isn’t there anymore, but my interactions with her seem to be par for the course. I go over my problems with the current PA and still can’t get proper help for anxiety. She has tried numerous meds, none which can help me to get back to normal. I want to go back to work. I want to function normally. That isn’t something they want to help you with. Current PA provides me with 10 .5mg tablets a month. I have to conserve these for days I absolutely must leave the house. Essentially I don’t leave the house more than 10 days a month, because that seems to be as much as they think I should be able to. I don’t know why I didn’t run away from this place when it happened. Finally I’ve come to my senses and will not be going back. It would just continue to be a game of trying all kinds of different meds at different doses and still not feeling better. I liked who was seeing recently, but just because I like her as a person doesn’t mean she is able to provide the medical help I need. I keep being told that there must be something physically wrong that is making me this way. They will come up with anything to put the blame on something else so they don’t have to provide proper services. It is extremely frustrating to be treated like a drug addict, when I just want to be able to go out and do things. I can’t drive without anxiety medication, and I need to now that we are not smack dab in the middle of downtown. You would have thought I’d asked them to supply me crack with the reaction they give. I even tell them I have to smoke weed to help the anxiety, but that only helps with general anxiety but not social anxiety. So my heart doesn’t race, but then I’m lazy and can’t go out even more than before. For basic depression medication or such, they would be fine. If you have anxiety and depression that severely affects your daily life, this is not the place to go.”

“I had a very disappointing experience with this office and would not recommend them, especially for anyone seeking mental health care during a vulnerable time. Get your treatment elsewhere! There was a complete lack of consistency and communication across their teams. I was told by multiple representatives that I could set up a payment plan, only to later receive calls saying I was not allowed to attend or schedule appointments even ones that had already been confirmed unless this balance was paid in full. I was also told I would receive a follow-up call from management to address these discrepancies, as well as a separate incident where I was spoken down to by a staff member. I never received a call. The way I was treated during that interaction was unacceptable especially for a mental health clinic, where compassion and professionalism should be the standard. If this is their policy regarding payments, it needs to be communicated clearly and consistently across all departments. Instead, the process felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. Patients are not just accounts or balances we are people going through real challenges. At no point did I feel that level of understanding or care from this office. I will not be returning.”
