“First off I would like to let everyone know that my wife of 25 years and myself have been battling addiction for much of our marriage. We are 16 years clean with zero relapses due to the medical treatment we are receiving here as well as the most important part which is the counseling. These counselors are all Occupied with many people in their caseload, but our counselor for a very long time now La Africa is an outstanding, truly caring person who understands that this is a debilitating life altering disease that can only be cured by a 2 prong treatment, medicine and love and compassionate counseling like we are so, so fortunate to receive from La Africa our outstanding Counselor. If you know someone or need help with addiction yourself she is the person to get your life back on track but you must follow what she says to experience the life saving help she has given me and my wife. You guys truly have the best counselor I have seen in 16 years and that woman should honestly be promoted to office supervisor and replace Bill because I was very close with Bill, were both Bikers, but La Africa has an understanding of the mindset of the addict much more than Bill could understand....thank you for your time now go change your life and get out of pain and back on track!!!! “This is about being lied on by staff. I'm 60 years old have no time to lie about using a toilet. I asked nurse said yes when I was told she tried to stop me. Then said let's ask her now was told no. She said it was ok 3520 S Ashland. Have enough problems without telling a lie about using a bathroom. She needs to be reprimanded really. The owner was there talk about just collecting money. Legally selling a fix to people that need help. The nurse at 3520 S Archer needs to be Fired. You are not responsible grow up”

“My biggest mistake was coming here. They are very rude and ignorant, and think they can talk down to you. The only good person there that actually understood people and knew what he was talking about left and I don't blame him one bit. The whole place just feels sketchy like all they care about is your insurance money, they don't care about your health as soon as you want to get off they try to convince you to stay, its very weird its happened multiple times. Not to mention how negative it always is in there, I will never understand how they find so many miserable unlikable people to work there its like the DMV. I went in on my own to get HELP and they still treat me like I'm there on a court order or something, they don't listen to what you have to say they just act like they have no time for you no matter what they're just going to judge you and treat you like a junky. I was told by the nurse the reason I couldn't speed up my recovery was for "my health" but as soon as she started fighting with me acting like I was the problem for questioning what was going on, she threatened to withhold my medicine. Very unprofessional to use withdrawals over someone's head like that just for a misunderstanding that should of never had to escalate at all (my other counselor told me it would only take a couple months so that's what I was going off of, while they were acting like 5-6 months was no big deal even though I said from the beginning my goal was to get off quick and not stay on for years). I do not recommend anyone trying to get clean in an environment like that, the way they treat people is unacceptable and I'm never the type to leave a review but I just want to warn anybody not to make the same mistake I did.”

“My brother Cliff goes to this clinic for services, and one of the employees by the name of Tanya is such a great employee/person. My brother has trouble walking and no matter what is going on or how busy she is she'll go out of her way to get him a chair and make sure he is comftable. This place needs more employees like her. She is very stern with people but fair and compassionate. This women needs a raise .”
