What patients say on Google

“If I could give negative stars I would. Do not send your loved one or even your worst enemy here! I was never told it was med time and was in my room talking to my roommate about what her patient rights were after the techs (all males btw) had entered the room and yanked her off the wide windowsill where she was calmly sitting talking to me and aggressively threw her face down on the bed pulled her pants down and gave her a shot which seemed so unwarranted, never even asked her to allow them to give her a shot and she was calm and compliant and within her sensibility. After I called a friend to get her to search for the phone number to a state ombudsman for me because I sense I was going to witness more unethical treatment and abuse from what I'd seen thus far. Then next thing I know 3 men entered my room and threw me into the floor and did the same to me while I went into full PTSD panic while nurse gave me a shot and they kept me so drugged up for 72 hr hold that I couldn't wake up to eat or drink or anything.”

“This hospital is full of incompetent individuals. I was yelled at by the discharge planner, asked for a supervisor and was never called back. Apparently they don't actually have mental health "professionals" on staff and can't do evaluations!?! They only care about kicking people out as soon as possible. The social worker never bothered to return my polite messages asking for guidance for my brother. So, despite my warnings that my brother would start another fire if they sent him back home, what do you think they did? Your loved one is better off in jail than at this facility. Please avoid them if you have a choice!!!!”

“I loathed this place with a passion. I was gere for a 7 day stay due to postpartum depression and they messed up my paperwork and i was actually allowed to leave a lot sooner but wasn't told so. You do nothing but walk up and down a hallway and get stuck in a room with mold bathrooms and molded walls. I was sometimes stuck in the same dirty clothes because they didn't get washed which is NASTY. "Therapy" group was so useless i just wanted to fall asleep. I hate this place and even told my doctor that I have no idea how he expected anyone to get better in such a discusting place and he apologized but im sure he didn't care since he gets to go to a nice home after. I loathe this place and get anxiety just passing this hospital. The only good thing about this place was one of the techs there she was amazing and so understanding of my pp and moving to a new place. She was the only person i genuinely got ti talk ti that made me feel better but all in all this place is legit trash for any sort of mental health help.”

“The nurses were kind. Nevertheless, I was terrified during the first two days of my stay. The staff would use profanity towards patients who were unable to defend themselves. One woman shoved a patient named Bobby, instructing him to turn around, and physically pushed him. He stumbled ahead. I desperately wanted to leave. There was no genuine therapy available. It felt akin to a prison! Are there no surveillance cameras monitoring these individuals? It appeared they could act as they pleased, and indeed they did! I advise against sending anyone here for depression, as it may exacerbate their condition!”
