“Got on at 4:25pm, in the virtual waiting room, (so cool) and Dr D came on at 4:35. We went over my sadness being unusual, as all are, this COVID19 is really hurting everyone! I asked if he could think of something better to take and eliminate one that I am taking. He researched and reassured me a lot of people are trying new medication to help in this terrible time. So I picked up my new medication today and have started. I will report back to him on how it is working for me! I really like Dr D, like how he listens and even makes reference to things in my life. “I am very happily with my care with Dr De Graveelles! The care I get with him is very good!! The only complaint I have is an ongoing issue of an inability to make contact with him or his staff when needed. The phones are NEVER answered when you call. If you leave a message asking for a return call if it is returned, it could be weeks later. Ive tried the leave the message on “My Chart” idea and that was an epic fail as well! As a mental health patient we can’t play chase the doctor down when things are not good for us. I try to reach out for help and when I can’t get ahold of my doctor and am unable to make contact I tend to quit trying and choose not to try anymore which is not always the right decision!! Maybe the right decision is for your organization is to hire a person to solely answer your phones and handle the incoming calls properly. That way patients like me with health issues like mine don’t feel abandoned by their health care system and no one is caring!!!”
