“After seeking care for roughly 8 months with no indication that this was going to be told to me the day prior of needing my prescription filled ,I was told with the new year approaching, my deductible would likely reset which would make appointment costs more challenging. I have never heard of such thing, during these eight months of being a client at this facility, I have had one blood pressure Reading through out this time , that was slightly high. I am also being asked to consider blood pressure medicine for that one reading and being told that it might be worthwhile to explore my other options for better support with the level of the monitoring that I need meaning the one time blood pressure reading . I find this unethical to say but, to then send it via message and not have an appointment to discuss their matter makes worse . Money over mental health is what this practice cares about .”

I've been with a handful of different providers throughout NC over the last 20 years, and they have made me feel truly cared for and valued as a person. I almost always have some anxiety around psychiatry/psychologist meetings, and I'm always exciting for meetings at Chapel Hill Psychiatry. I also didn't realize that my provider had cancelled an appointment, and even with me being a newer patient and not doing my own due diligence to realize the cancellation and reschedule on my own, they were able to accommodate a new appointment for me on short notice...just really going above and beyond.
