“This review is specifically about Dr. Diljot Sachdeva and does not reflect on other clinicians at this practice. I sought an ADHD evaluation from Dr. Diljot Sachdeva, who advertises ADHD testing on his Psychology Today and practice profiles. My WAIS-IV results: Working Memory Index 139 (99.5th percentile), Processing Speed Index 89 (23rd percentile), which is a 50-point gap. Coding subtest in the 9th percentile, Arithmetic at the test ceiling of 19. BRIEF-2A: Initiate 78, Plan/Organize 82, Organization of Materials 82, Task Monitor 76, Working Memory 77 — all clinically significant. Metacognition Index 85 (severe). Behavioral Regulation Index 53 (normal). I was tested in the gifted range as a child. Symptoms reported since elementary school. I tested on no sleep, which was not documented in the report despite the evaluator expressing concern about it during the session Diagnosis: Major Depressive Disorder. ADHD ruled out. He ruled out ADHD by stating my difficulties come from a processing speed deficit. A processing speed deficit with preserved superior working memory is a primary cognitive marker of ADHD-Inattentive Type. He used a symptom of the condition as evidence against it. He defined ADHD as requiring broad impairments in impulsivity and attentional control which is the Combined or Hyperactive-Impulsive subtype. ADHD-Inattentive Type presents as metacognitive dysfunction with intact behavioral regulation, which is exactly what my BRIEF-2A shows. He ruled out the wrong subtype. The Wender Utah Rating Scale-25 (a childhood ADHD symptom measure) and D-KEFS subtests were administered and listed on page one. Neither has results in the report. My childhood history is one sentence. No detailed developmental history was taken — ADHD requires onset before age 12 and this criterion was not meaningfully assessed. The report states I have difficulty inhibiting impulses — my Inhibit score was 58, normal. The Beck Depression Inventory score is not numerically reported despite being the basis for the primary diagnosis. The General Ability Index was not calculated despite a 50-point index discrepancy that makes the Full Scale IQ uninterpretable. He recommended extended time accommodations for processing speed — an accommodation for neurodevelopmental processing differences, not depression. His accommodation contradicts his diagnosis. The initial clinical interview ended early. No meaningful childhood history was gathered during it. His training is in multicultural counseling and diversity. PsyD from Marywood University. Six years of experience. Specializations listed as men's issues, racial identity, and emotional disturbances — not neuropsychological assessment. Seeking a second opinion. Filing a complaint with the Pennsylvania BPOA.”

“I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional and disheartening treatment my sister received from Nicole Cressley. At a time when she was seeking support, she was instead met with rejection under the guise of “missed appointments” and “lack of progress.” It is both troubling and ironic that a therapist who claims to believe in a “whole-person approach to wellness” would so easily dismiss a client struggling with the very issues therapy is meant to address. Missed appointments are often a symptom of deeper struggles—particularly for those dealing with depression, anxiety, or trauma. Any experienced therapist should understand that, rather than using it as an excuse to terminate care. Instead of offering encouragement or working collaboratively to address the barriers my sister was facing, Nicole Cressley chose to send an email framing their lack of progress as a justification for ending treatment. This kind of message is not only discouraging but potentially damaging to someone already struggling with their mental health. Cressley’s own stated purpose emphasizes how “sustained periods of chronic trauma or stress wreak havoc on us” and how such experiences can “disrupt our daily functioning.” Yet, when my sister’s struggles manifested in real, tangible ways—like difficulty attending appointments—Cressley chose to walk away instead of providing the understanding and support she claims to value. Therapy should be a safe and compassionate space, not one where a client is abandoned for exhibiting symptoms of the very conditions they are seeking help for. If you or a loved one are looking for a therapist who will truly stand by you during difficult times, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.”

“I have been going to the Centre Psychology Group for awhile and I love the people. The staff always greets you with a smile and are very personable. I see Dr. Dawood and she really has made therapy a good experience for me. Overall, this place is very professional but not with the "doctor's office" feel. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking therapy in State College.”
