What patients say on Google
“If you get someone who's there because they care this place is great. Excellent place for disadvantaged/homeless people as the basement has a kitchen, full laundry & food most the time.”
“If you tell your patients to arrive 15 minutes prior to their 8AM appointment, make sure the building is open at 745? Especially if it is 25 degrees out. Also, my NP needs more training on how to provide patient-centered care to women. Under no circumstance is it okay to dismiss my concerns... I am literally paying you? IU Behavioral Health being backed logged by 6 + months is the ONLY reason this business still has patients. There may be ONE good provider in the entire building, I have yet to meet them.”
“Parents and caregivers, please be cautious before seeking mental health services for your child at Centerstone. Our experience has been deeply disappointing and frustrating. Our child was referred here for psychiatric care after an isolated incident, and unfortunately, the psychiatrist assigned to us did not respect our input or adequately consider our child’s medical history. Despite our clear communication and documentation showing that a previous medication had worked well for our child, the psychiatrist refused to re-prescribe it. Instead, they insisted on trying off-brand alternatives, some of which have well-documented and severe side effects. Alarmingly, our child’s medication was changed twice in a single day, which we found extremely concerning and irresponsible. Initially, the psychiatrist prescribed the medication we had requested—but only on the condition that it be taken alongside an additional medication we had concerns about. When we voiced our concerns regarding the added medication, they abruptly reverted back to the original treatment plan, which had already proven ineffective—instead of continuing with the medication we knew, based on prior experience, was effective for our child. We felt that our concerns were dismissed and that the psychiatrist prioritized their preferences over our child's well-being and documented medical history. It is incredibly disheartening to feel that we can no longer trust a medical provider—something no parent or caregiver should ever have to worry about. We strongly urge other families to proceed with caution, thoroughly research any prescribed medications, and advocate firmly for their loved ones if they choose to seek care here.”
“Dr Trueblood is the most patient understanding amazing thoroughly invested in my health doctor”
