What patients say on Google
“I have been going to Centerstone for about 7 months now, and I must say my experience has been absolutely amazing. From learning valuable things in my parenting class with Aaron and Colleen to having the Absolute best therapist Jenni. She has helped me get through so much and I am going to be so sad when I am no longer able to see her. Jenni’s relaxed, laid back vibe was what really helped me relax in order for me to even be able to open up to her! All in all everyone here at Centerstone is amazing. I would really be lost if I hadn’t had the opportunity to come to Centerstone.”
“Manatee FITT program helped me in so many ways! They went above and beyond for my family. I’m very thankful for many staff members in the program! I am also here to voice how incredibly great Chrystal was throughout her visits to my home. She was full of advice but she also fully listened to what I had to say. We built a relationship as well as her and my children. She was always on time and stayed very connected throughout the weeks. You have a wonderful and special person on your team. She was truly amazing and I will forever be grateful for all the love and respect she showed up with every single week!”
“Centerstone has helped me tremendously. Was there for me when I felt like I had nobody. Chrystal is an amazing individual who works as a peer support counselor and has been there for me through every step of the way! She is so sweet and supportive. Sarah is my therapist and she has helped me grow so much. I am so blessed for both Chrystal and Sarah, they have really held me accountable and helped me grow in one of the hardest times in my life.”
“Well, to begin with, I am very disappointed with Centerstone's patient/doctor conduct: first, my husband has been going there for 2years, with no problem so far... today, his doctor, knowing his severe ADHD condition and anxiety conditions refused to put him on the necessary medications with which he has been on in the past, mind you by one of Centerstone's doctors. She refused to listen to him and even denied him when he tried to show her proof. Plus, my husband constantly takes care of me since I am disabled, he does the shopping, running around and has to be on his feet all the day, sometimes his days aren't over until midnight. He even went out of his way to book his insurance ride all the way to Bradenton to see her for an appointment. That was bad enough!! Second, she instilled her own 'personal' beliefs in order to judge the situation. I thought doctors (especially psychiatrist doctors who deal with mentally challenged patients to begin with) are NOT supposed to bring their personal beliefs to work, to the workplace, supposed to keep it professional and not place their feelings into a patient's diagnosis. They're supposed treat patients with medications they've already been on, that works best, only the patient knows his/her own body and what works personally for them.. NOT what the Dr "thinks" they should be on. And, he's 54, he's been on these meds since childhood and knows what works and what does not! I was even considering becoming a patient myself, but now no longer interested after treatment my husband received.”
