What patients say on Google
“Dr. Jay is a great therapist! Very kind and compassionate. He creates a very inviting atmosphere”
“My life has been forever changed by the Center for Integrative Psychology, particularly through the guidance of Andrew Bindewald, who unfortunately relocated to Texas recently to start a new chapter with his family. During the three years I worked with Andrew, I transformed into the person I had always wanted to be but couldn’t quite find a way to unlock on my own. We began with talk therapy, which was incredibly helpful, but things truly shifted when Andrew introduced me to BAUD (a sound therapy device designed to address PTSD). Later, he suggested brain mapping and neurotherapy, and that’s where the real breakthroughs started. By targeting specific “problem” areas in my brain, I noticed immediate improvements in my quality of life. My depression all but disappeared, my anxiety dropped from an 8/10 to a 3/10 within the first 10 sessions, I gained control over intrusive thoughts, and I’ve been sober from marijuana for five months—a goal I’d wanted to achieve for years but couldn’t manage in my previous mental state. Thanks to neurotherapy and the incredible support of Andrew and the team at the Center for Integrative Psychology, my life has completely turned around. I’ve gone from standing on the edge of a metaphorical cliff to living as someone I never imagined I could become. I’ve repaired relationships, deepened my faith by giving my life to Christ, rediscovered old hobbies, improved my financial situation, and even taken steps to give back to my community. Recently, I completed training to become a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan, and I met my match last weekend. It’s such an honor to provide support to someone who might relate to the struggles I’ve overcome. I owe endless gratitude to Andrew and his mentor, Dr. Jay, for their expertise, compassion, and innovative approaches. No amount of talk therapy or medication alone could have accomplished what neurotherapy has done for me. The combination of their support and my own hard work outside of therapy has truly saved and transformed my life.”
“I told Dr. Jay in one of our sessions that neurotherapy and neuromodulation felt like "someone applied WD-40 to the gears in my brain." After over seven years of talk therapy, there was always something inside my mind that it couldn't reach. When I saw my partner’s improvement in ADHD symptoms through neurotherapy at the Center of Integrative Psychology, I decided to try it. Dr. Jay and his assistant Mia make a great team. I appreciate Dr. Jay and his desire to change peoples lives with science and psychology. He his kind, caring, empathetic, and incredibly intelligent. The sessions have significantly relieved my anxiety, OCD, overthinking, sleep issues, and negative thoughts, among other things. The results have been life-changing, so much so that words can't fully express it. It has given me freedom. Friends and family have noticed improvements in my mood, soft skills, and overall demeanor. This has been one of the best investments in my well-being. A big thank you to the center, Dr. Jay, and his assistant.”
“In 2002 after meeting with several psychologist over a few years to deal with my divorce issues and making better personal decisions finding Dr. Jay was a life altering experience. He has been the one psychologist that I recommend to those individuals that want to find a path to better decision making, understanding themselves and the issues and experiences that have brought them to this point in their lives. A remarkable man who has an approach to working with individuals that makes progress to a healthier life and personal growth sustainable. Dr. Jay, you are a great psychologist and the visits and exercises we undertook has lead me to a much calmer, happier, fulfilling and appreciative life. When I hear anyone speak about their personal issues and looking for answers, I invariably recommend that they contact you at their earliest convenience. Thanks for your past assistance and for giving me the tools I needed to continue forward. I use those tools every day and my life has continued to improve since meeting you. All the best!”
