What patients say on Google

“Avoid this place!!! They will destroy your mental health with their billing errors, mistakes, missed invoicing then invoicing you many, many months later and then sending it to collections. All because they made a mistake in the first place.”
Terry Bourne
“I had nothing but problems with this place... First of all, I had a HORRIBLE time scheduling with them. So bad that once I drove to the Gahanna office from downtown (huge anxiety trigger for me btw) only to find out I didn't have an appointment even though I could show them my confirmation. But the provider had already taken another patient back so I just had to leave... And then I wasn't able to confirm my re-scheduled appointment because their system wasn't working and they cancelled my appointment AGAIN. Just a huge nightmare and definitely not good for someone with mental health issues. Second, I saw Edwin Huston and I would NOT recommend him. I was there for an ADHD diagnosis, as recommended by my therapist, and I felt like I was getting the third degree, not an evaluation. He kept making comments about medication, even though that is not what I was looking for. He said a lot of brash things about the drugs, particularly since I sometimes smoke weed. He is clearly VERY against this legal substance and makes it a cornerstone of his work. I felt VERY judged and not at all listened to. At the follow up appointment to give me the results of my assessment (they WOULD NOT just give me this info over the phone or email... I had to come in, which seems ridiculous in 2024 but I digress), he spent the entire hour talking at me and basically just reading the folder of papers he was giving me. He mansplained my own mind to me and did not ask me one single question. He talked about himself, his previous jobs, other patients, even going so far as to mock an autistic patient to me. Obviously this wasn't a situation where I felt comfortable pushing back but the whole thing was just weird. He's also an ex-marine which is a pretty major red flag to me, but that might just be my own prejudices talking.... TL;DR: find somewhere else and don't waste your time like I did”

“Was referred here when my doctor and i were looking at diagnosing adhd and neurodivergence, as it had been getting in the way of my life. Full disclosure, this was a couple years ago so maybe there have been changes since then. The psychologist I saw did diagnose me, but it felt less like explaining my life and being heard and more like talking to someone who didn’t believe me. When I mentioned symptoms and severity, she always had a skeptical look on her face. She brought up the idea of “not selling adderall on the street” at least once every five minutes after we got done with the initial testing and scoring, which I found odd. I may be tattooed and awkward due to what i now know as autism… but i can also read the room. Not everyone who has tattoos and piercings is a druggie or a criminal. Not cool for a mental health facility to make judgments like that. I thankfully didn’t experience any of the financial issues that others are having. But i did try to schedule a follow up for talk therapy and after two messages left and no response, i just sought it elsewhere.”

“Was supposed to be seeing Dr. Grant Schroeder at the Gahanna location. We had couples counseling with him that was supposed to be over the phone two weeks ago but it was more of like a 20 minute conversation. After the conversation, he stated he wanted us to come into the office if we were comfortable with it two weeks from then. My husband and I agreed and we scheduled for the same time at the Gahanna location for today with Dr. Schroeder. We go to the location around the time he said we were scheduled and we waited for 20 minutes before calling the Sawmill location and asking if they saw us on the schedule. The receptionist said no, and asked if we wanted to schedule with him. I was furious and really embarrassed. Not only did I waste my time, I will never come back to this psychiatrist group again. Very unprofessional.”
