“We’ve been coming here for years and this practice was the only one who seemed to understand, diagnose and treat my son. Practitioner, Mrs. Norman, thoroughly examines my son’s progress and treatment plan at each follow up appointment. She always provides helpful feedback, genuine and passionate about her profession and patients. The support staff at the Slidell location are always working with us through any concerns or appointment issues we may have. However, this is an extremely busy office so if you find yourself always needing to make a change in appointments then this location may not be a good fit for you. There are so many guidelines that must be met to appease health insurance criteria and not much room for appointment changes.”

“This is a very calm and friendly atmosphere. Hope and Stephanie are always very helpful and extremely nice in the office. NP Desiree Norman is easy to open up to and she is a great active listener. You can tell that it’s not just a job to her, she truly cares and wants to help her patients. This is based on numerous visits from me and two other family members who feel the same way.”

“I enjoyed my experience with Stacey but after promising she wouldn’t leave me out to dry, I don’t have any medication left after I didn’t want to be on it in the first place. Was also very condescending told this on the phone while I’ve been going in circles trying to get this settled. Wish I had never come in the first place because there has been no change in my mental health but a big change in my pocket book.”

“I wish I could rate the doctors but after dealing with the extremely rude receptionist we will not be going. We had to cancel an appointment due to work schedule and she had a very bad attitude and made my girlfriends anxiety much worse, which was the reason she was trying to see a doctor to begin with. Almost like she was mad at us for making her do more work. I tried calling a few days later to reschedule a new appointment (because my girlfriend was afraid to get spoken to like that again) and she was also very short and nasty with me. Truly unbelievable that someone who is dealing with psychiatric patients doesn't have the sensitivity or patience to handle a simple change in appointments.”
