How likely are you to recommend Centennial Counseling Center?
What patients say on Google
“I am shocked this place is in still open because they are NOT compassionate, empathetic, or actively hiring new therapists or social workers for example. It's the same outdated office with the same stuck up and standoffish staff members, social workers, and therapists as it was back in 2005. They do not prioritize your care and they take weeks to get back to you for an appointment when a highly rated facility would reach back out that same day. I would not recommend this group of insensitive and judgemental people who ask what insurance you have before they ask your name!!”
“Been coming for about 15 years! Cant imagine anywhere else. There is a therapist for everyone, if you didnt find one here dont stop looking ❤️”
“VERY, VERY rude! I called on a Friday and left a voicemail because it was after hours. Today, a Tuesday I called in to see if someone answered and they did. I didn’t want to make any assumption so I asked “hi! What is you current turn around time for returning voicemails?” She replied in a VERY snobby tone, “why!!? What can I help you with!? You have me on the phone, is this for a counselor or what!?” I replied “no, I was calling to set up a first time appt” I paused and said “..but I’m not even sure if you’re accepting new clients” because of her nasty tone I could tell they weren’t welcoming of me. She then said “is this for you or someone else!?” Twice, rushing me to response as I tried to hold back a smart remark :) as I did, replying with “me and my daughter.” She then asked the normal questions. I had a strong feeling she was going to come back stating they don’t accept my insurance but she also advised me to ask my provider for list of place who accepts me. I mis spoke and stated 3 but there were 2 doctors on the list from my insurance provider, in fact they’re numbers 2 and 3 on the list. I was already on google typing the review BEFORE she put me on hold to check to see if they accept my insurance because I wanted to speak on her attitude, I was not about to forget her name! Anyway, She then proceeded to say “I can transfer you to Yorkville maybe they are accepting ” and I replied “I thought this was yorkville, she said “it is but I can give you the numbers to our other locations in blank and blank.” I said “no, thank you”. Her name was Jennifer. Very rude girl. The fact they have no reviews shows they either just opened or there aren’t any memorable moments. Sadly, the first one is negative. I was truly hoping to love this place. Honestly, based on that experience and the fact no one called bck, I feel it’s because of who I am. Not putting that on the whole company but Jenifer definitely has hate in her heart and SHOULD NOT be dealing with patients dealing with mental health crisis. That could’ve been my last straw.”
“Delays in calling back. It took weeks to get a call back from an online inquiry and I was set up counseling, the therapist missed more sessions than attended. If you are struggling I suggest you find somewhere else!!'”
