How likely are you to recommend Cedar Valley Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“I have been a patient here for several years now and have had a wonderful experience with both providers I have seen. I followed with Amanda Kendig for the last several years but unfortunately had to switch providers due to our schedules no longer matching up. I have now seen Brooke Harris for a few visits, and she is also fantastic! I highly recommend.”
“Just sharing another update- I did find a psychiatrist through LGH penn medicine who gave me meds WITHOUT added therapy. So it is possible people! I am again, not quite sure now why doctor Georgeff rejected me as a patient, seeing as how I got my buspar script, my propanolol script and a vraylar script and my psych didnt even mention or demand (like georgeff) that I also see a therapist at the same place or at all. idk, yall can make your own choices but just wanted to share the update based off my previous review.”
“EDIT: Dr. Georgeff reached out to speak to me directly, and while she does think she can help manage my bipolar and anxiety, there aren’t therapists there to help with my bpd. She suggests DBT therapy, and EMDR. I explained I don’t need help with that, but I just need help with my anxiety and panic attacks. All I wanted was a simple buspar script at a low dose to start. I understand though that there is a way most psychiatrists “have” to do things. I hope in the future they expand their practice because she does seem like she really cares, but she is strict about going by the book and doesn’t seem like she really wants to expand more on anything or learn new ways to deal with things. Also it still says online you offer psychotherapy- which DBT and EMDR fall under- so just a tip- I would change your website to remove that if you don’t have therapists there that offer actual psychotherapy. Thanks!”
“From first contact through multiple appointments I have received genuine kindness, exactly what I need at this time. The office staff is top notch and office environment is clean and inviting. I consider myself very lucky to have found them.”
